Why would I hate trees?
-
Ask that when you are raking leaves from your yard next fall.
-
I love them...im a bit of a tree huggin hippy at heart...I love them especially when they are naked...yeah I know it sounds weird but I love old oak trees with no leaves in winter...their branches strike some really dramatic poses against the sky line. I think theres something quite romantic about them in the dusk light and when they reach out of the early morning mist. Just think if some of the really old ones could talk...imagine the things they have witnessed :)
-
indifferent.

trees are stupid. I was lost in the woods one day and I had to ask the forest for directions and the damn trees just ignored me...they didn't even know the way out of their OWN forest. God I hate trees.
-
Love em for their beauty and shade (late spring, summer and early fall, and in winter, shortly after a fresh snow is laying on the branches), AND hate them for their ... "doppings"... (early spring when they bloom, and fall with the leaves... And occasionally after storms).
-
Trees have never hurt me, and they give me shade. So I love them.
-
I ABSOLUTELY love trees, (the whole world should be covered with them! If I had my way, there would be a law that every parcel of land MUST be 25% trees! After all, they provide our oxygen and help filter SOME junk out of the air. I don't know where my love of trees came from, tho'. One day, the Fire Dept. came to my Grandma's house and almost cited her for illegal burning! She was trying to burn a 200 year old tree down in her back yard, and burning ALL her grass so she wouldn't have to mow! She would have gotten a ticket if she wasn't so old, (LoL)! The tree lived!
-
I'm a huge tree hugger. I love trees so much, I do not condone raising of Christmas trees just to kill them. I will never have a Christmas tree in my home.
-
Love 'em. Couldn't live with-out 'em.
-
The trees have helped me for so much for as long as I can remember. They provide shade, decorate homes, and beautify the earth. "Trees are the earth’s endless effort to speak to the listening heaven." - Rabindranath Tagor
-
I love trees. They are so beautyful.
-
I LOVE trees ! There's nothing like sitting under a big shade tree on a hot day.
-
Both. Love em because the keep us from suffocating and hate it....well thats too harsh. How about I rather see buildings for new jobs.
-
Love 'em. Hug 'em. Leave 'em alone to grow. You can spot our place from across the river - it's the house you can't see because of the trees. They are an overhead superhighway for the squirrels all the way around our property.
-
I love them!

I have a Magnolia tree that I both love and hate. I love it of the flowers and citrus smell when it blooms but I hate that brown dry crunchy leaves fall all year round. In the summer when everything is green ... brown leaves on my lawn. In the winter after a fresh snow...brown leaves on my lawn.
-
Love them :)

Love, love, love them :) They make me happy and peaceful.
-
I love trees; the only time they might bug me is when they block my view of something.

Love in the summer.. Hate in the fall. We have so many trees and it seems like we rake 6 months outta the year!

I love them for the oxygen and the shade that they provide, and for the greenhouse gases that they consume. I have stood in reverence before the largest living thing on this planet, the General Sherman tree in Sequoia National Park.

I guess I generally love trees, but at this time of year (fall), I HATE them. The leaves are falling and there are so many flying around, if I stand still, I will be covered up!! Trees are not our friends here in the Midwest at this time of year.

I love trees! I am in the Tree Care industry. It is part of my job to spot dangerous trees that need to come down for the safety and welfare of those around them.
-
LOVE== IN TIMBER COUNTRY
-
Generally I love them, however I really dislike Norway maples, especially the one that dwarfs my slow growing (indigenous) tree and is breaking the 20 ft retaining wall, Fast growing (hugh) trees of this type can be deadly when they tower over others properties in a tight urban setting, on hillside neighbourhoods. http://www.earthworksboston.org/articles/UWnorway.htm
-
Love them... until it becomes weird and illegal.
-
I have a love and hate relationship with some of mine. Let me clarify, I love trees, but I bought a property that had 7 African Sumac trees on it... they're messy as hell, and they look horrible right now, they need constant attention and they drop leaves like crazy all the time. Now the good part is that I have a chainsaw and I plan to cut the suckers down (I already chopped 2) and replace them with trees I love, like Sissoo trees (Indian Rosewood)... beautiful trees, grow fast, not very messy, and did I mention they grow fast? I planted one in March and it already grew 3 feet (3 feet in 2 months, THAT is a fast growing tree). I also love fruit trees, I have figs, plums, orange, grapefruit, lemon trees and my most favorite: Quince. so yes I love most trees, I just hate African Sumacs.
-
Love them!! Not to mention our life depends on them. I love the living christmas tree and the deafening silence of the redwoods.
-
I hate trees, they are so rude! kidding. I'm a tree hugger. :D
