My 1996 Chev S-10 With a 2.2 litre runs as if it's firing on only 3 cylinders on cold start up. After a couple of minutes, it smooths right out and runs fine. It has a 4 speed automatic trans. Could it be a bad injector?

Could be. Run a fuel injector cleaner through a tank of gas and see if that helps. I'd suggest the spark plug but you say it works fine after it warms up. So, something is sticking, freezing, or both, but only in one cylinder. Tricky to diagnose. I would hook a scanner up to it before you start it, then see if any codes come up.
