I have no idea. They were too happy to convert my old room into an office to run their video taping business out of. I was just happy to get away from them, I was crying tears of happiness.
-
Probably since my younger brother did that 5 years ago and I have yet to find that special someone yet to settle down with.
-
With 12 kids at home, I am sure they were tears of joy! LOL

My parents died before I was married. I had a Samhain ritual performed and had them called forth for 3 days so that they can if they wished attend my wedding in spirit. My wife and I had a special table set for them with a flower and candles right next to our head table. It meant a lot to me.

Good question. I'm not really sure. Since my marriage resulted in my being ex-communicated from our (their) church I know it eventually hurt them.
-
Mine did, so did my grandparents. I wonder if they were beginning to think that it would never happen!
-
Yes but probably out of relief knowing i was no longer a responsabilty to her lol.
-
I'll tell you next may, but I doubt they will!
-
Yes..because I married a black man....if that wasnt bad enough for them he was muslim....so yeah they cried...but for the wrong reasons....we dont speak anymore......their loss :D
-
Nope.
-
er no because they were in another state but i did cry due to this i cant believe i married that asshole.
-
Mom cried...when I told her 3 months later...
-
My father did....doubt my mother did
-
Not that I'm aware of, if my mom did she didn't tell me. When I got married I had my dads drivers lic. in my pocket because he passed away when I was 19 & I swore I'd never get married because my daddy wasn't there to walk me down the isle. But I did, don't know what the hell I was thinking that day, someone must've slipped something in my drink or something(smacks self on forehead)!!!
-
I think they may have had a look of disbelief on their faces. Whether that was goog or bad remains to be seen.
-
Yes, they did both times :)
-
Never been married before.
-
No, but I did I didn't want to get married.
-
No because they knew I was still going to be living with them :)
-
Yes ! :)
-
No. My Mom was pissed off because she did not get to have the wedding the way she wanted it(people she wanted as bridesmaids and grooms)planned out even though I payed for my own wedding. My Dad was miserable because my Mom was being an ass and he started drinking and wanted to go home.So no..they didn't cry.
-
My mother was the parent that was at each of my two weddings. She did not cry at the first one. She was angry. She did cry at the second one since she had seen how happy I was with him and how well he treated me.
-
my parents declined to go to my wedding b/c i wanted to do it in Italy- even though i was going to pay for the whole thing. I asked them if they would care if i eloped, and they said no. They will not be attending my wedding, so they will not be crying.

My dad had passed on, but my mom was flat out angry at my first wedding. She knew he would treat me horribly and I just had to go and try to prove her wrong. Mothers always know though. She couldn't come to my second wedding as it was rushed forward a bit and happened during a blizzard. The husbands parents are Catholic and they sped up the process a lot when they found out we were going to have a baby. :P
