  • Dont worry guys stop growing at 18-20s and women usually stop anywhere from 16-17 Im 16, 6,2 and i hit my head on alot of things be glad your short, i've hit my head on a fan before! When i was 15 i was about 5'9 at most, over the summer i came back tall and somewhat skinny.
  • I stopped growing when I was about twelve, it would seem. I'm 5'1'', and that's if I round up, so I'm small for my age as well.
  • I stopped growing about two years after I started my first period - so about 13/14 years of age. Doctors will calculate how tall a child will grow by the height the child is at an age from 18 months to 2 years old then times that height by 2. It was accurate for my adult daughter, now I'm just waiting to see if the doctor will be right for my younger daughter.
  • By the time I was in 4th grade, I was 5'10" tall, and stayed that height until my senior year of high school. I'm 6' now.

  • I am 14 and roughly 6 feet and two inches, I had radiology tests done that estimated me to stop growing once I reached the 6,6 mark. At what age that occurs is yet to reveal itself.
  • I am 18 and I'm still growing some; I was told by my doctor that when your facial hair on your cheeks starts to turn black en masse that you'll be pretty much done with it. Hasn't happened yet, I'm hoping to go from 5' 11" to 6' :)

  • I was probably around 18 when i stopped growing. But i'm tall, and i can tell you one thing, being small when your older is actually better, because you have more guys to pick from! When you're tall, you need a taller guy. Because i think it looks kind of funny when the girl is taller than the guy! So don't be rushed to grow, love whatever height you are!

  • My husband and I were both "late bloomers". I grew 5 inches my sophomore year in high school. My husband grew 6 inches in college. Our kids are small for their ages, but we're sure they'll catch up later.
  • size do not matter in al cases, it is what is inside of you that counts, don’t worry about it to much, you will eventually grow up, some kids metabolism is just more enhanced at your age than others, but in the end nature have a way of balancing everything out perfectly!
  • I stopped at 17, in 3 years I went from 5’11’ to 6’4’ (My current height).

  • 16. But I'm female
  • I don't recall exactly but 18-20yrs. old. What's more important is that I'm 40 now and still growing in maturity, intelligence and wisdom. Don't let your physical size be how you measure yourself.
  • I think I was about 18-20. If you want to gain size, not height but you can hit the gym and work on your body....no matter what gender, race, hieght, or size you are you will always look great if you are in shape.....my 2 cents.
  • yeah i'm 16 and 5'3 and 120 punds i'm not that big either but size doesn't matter people still don't want to fight me

  • your only 15 you have a long way to go. guys generally stop growing around age 25.
  • This is something that is obviously different in each individual, which is evident by looking at the answers so far. Personally, I don't think I have grown much since I was around 16 (height wise anyway) I think people generally don't seem to get much taller after their mid-late teens but people fill out more and women develop bigger breasts etc and this seems to happen up until early 20's. Just my opinion anyway!
  • I stopped around 19...
  • height wise i stopped at 15.. but now im just getting jacked:)
  • I'm baaarely 5'4 and have been that since, hmmm gr.7 I think? (I'm 23 now).
  • Height is a genetic thing. If your parents are tall you probably will be too but it is no guarentee. Parts of us never stop growing, ever see the old guy with huge ears and a giant nose? Some parts just don't quit growing. I had a friend in grade school, he was the smallst kid. By 17 he was 6'4" and now we are all small comapred to him. Many Mexican Indians never get much taller than 5'4". You can get a good idea of what your general height will be by averaging the height of your parents and grandparents. You may not reach your full height until you are in your early 20's. It's all about genetics.
  • You can go see a doctor and find out when you stop growing.
  • About 22 years old; you've got a ways to go.
  • youll stop growing around the age of 20 if your a male and 17 if your a female
  • I'm nearly 18 and i'm still growing! My boyfriend managed to absolutely loads in height from the ages of 14 - 18 and I don't think he's stopped growing either. The easiest way to guess how you'll end up is by looking at people in your family that are guys as you're likely to end up like them.
  • I think I;ve looked the same since i was about 14. I'm 18 and a femme
  • I'm female, and I grew 3 inches between my junior and senior year of high school...don't fret.
  • put poo on it
  • well men stop growing at age of 18/19 women 17.
  • I'm 21 and they say I still haven't stopped. I'm a reallllly late bloomer though. I still get mistaken for a 14 year old :/
  • i didn't start growing till i was 17. so you still have got time to grow
  • I stopped growing at about 18, I'm a female but I know of guys who continued to grow into their 20's. If you would like, you can ask your doctor this question, he can look at your growth plates and give you a fairly accurate prediction. Although, my brother grew an inch and a half over 11 weeks when he was in boot camp. It could have just been a small growth spurt as he was about 19 at the time. Or it may have been that he was drinking about 6 glasses of milk everyday in boot camp. I don't reccomend trying this with out approval of a doctor.
  • i stopped growing at about 14. but the average female stops growing at 18-21 and males are 21+ depending. my doctor told me because im so short, i was curious.
  • I stopped growing at about 15. But that's only because my family has the "short gene." My boyfriend, however, didn't hit his growth spurt until about 17. Don't lose hope, you could be a late bloomer. =)
  • I think stopped growing when i was about 20, sadly now I am 6 foot tall, so dont worry, their is hope yet!!! lol
  • Men can grow until about 21 or 22 and females around 18...fear not !
  • I was the shortest in the class while at school. During college I grew pretty fast and reached above average height. So do not worry. You have another 4 to 5 years of growth
  • The only way to know when you are done growing is to get Xrayed to see when the growth plates are something or something, I dont remember exactly but if you get an X ray ask about your growth plates they can tell you.
  • I am still the same height I was in 8th grade 5'0" I am 47 now and i have always liked being small, but i refuse to let my body get too acidic, this in the end , takes from your bones and shrinks you. I always enjoyed being "perfectly" small lol I hope whatever height you are, you are fine with it.
  • I stopped growing at 18. My doctor told me so...I'm only 5' 4", very short in my eyes.

  • I stopped at 6'0" at 18. Bit short I think.
  • the tallest person never stopped growing. :-( he was 8' 11 1/2"
  • I'm 19 in a few months, and still only 5 foot 8. All my friends are all over 6 foot. So don't worry about it chuck, the best things are the ones that come in small packages. Your brain and penis stop growing at 18 but your body can continue growing vertically up until the age of up to 22. From then on, the only way you'll be growing is outwards. :)
  • 21 is the approximate age for a man. There's no need to be conscious of your height, I was small and had a late growth spurt. Hormones can act unpredictably, instead of gradually growing you could shoot up. If you're incredibly conscious about it you can have tests done to see if your pituitary gland is functioning normally. Be careful if a doctor suggests growth hormone though, you could also end up feeling too tall!
  • I stopped growing when i was about 13 or 14 and am about 5'7', my brother has kept on growing his 17 and 6'1", so don't lose too much sleep, actually try to sleep a lot its good for your growth.
  • i think i stopped growing when i was 12 x]
  • lucky you. i never stop growing. i hate to be tall. all my family is short. i am the weird one. but one day i realize something. since i was little i never stop jumping. i have that jumper game in my hause. my sister never used so she is short.
  • Circa-20.
  • apparently if your a guy you stop growing when you get full facial hair
  • 10. 5 feet nuttin. Life sucks.
  • im still growing but im only like 5'1 but my mom stop growing at the age of 15 and she is only 5'3
  • For boys, you can keep growing until your 18 years old, and that's when most guys stop. My brother was about 5'6" at age 15, and now he's 6 feet tall at 24 years old. It really depends on the person. A lot of people have short parents and they're still tall. My mom is 5'7" my dad is 5'10", and I'm only 5'3".
  • you got a good 4-6 years left, just stay fit, eat right you'll max your physiology out!

  • It has a lot to do with your DNA, your doctor could best answer your question. I grew three inches after, I was 18 years old. Enjoy the uniqueness of being you. Your it, your abilities, and hopes are only limited by your own imagination.
  • I don't know for sure but I think I was measured to be 4'9"ft when I was 14. I wasn't measured again until my graduation at 18 and I'd only grown an inch since I was 14 and I'm still 4'10"ft. I started precocious puberty at 7 and had my period at 9.
  • I was small and skinny until I was late 16. The summer between my junior and senior year I grew over an inch and now I'm 5'10. Just be proud of whoever you are. By the way growth spurts hurt. I was bed ridden for two weeks twice in a 4 month period.
  • I stopped growing up when I was 16, or so.
  • I am 16 and still growing; 5'11 ft. It depends on genetics, you will grow according to your parents genes. But sometimes it is a different scenario. See my mum is like 5'5 and Dad is like 5'9, but my uncles are taller so you can grow taller and bigger than your parents, you just might inherit other relatives' genes. So dont worry man! Guys usually grow till 26 or so. My uncle was 5'1 when he graduated from high school, then he started growing, when he graduated college he was 5'9 and now (age 28) he's 6'11! No kiddin
  • I stopped growing my second year of college, gained just about 3/4 of an inch. Now as for the belly, that is still a work in progress.
  • i am quite small 4 my age im 16 and in 5foot5. girls stop growing at 16, boys around 18-20, although women have one last growth spurt from 22-25.
