  • Elijah 2 Kings 2 7:12
  • Death has a flavor?
  • only Our Lady as far as I am aware. Even Jesus descended into Hell, before he rose again.
  • I love these type of questions. By "Heaven" I will assume you mean Shamyim (Hebrew). Let's see. Enoch - Gen 5:24 and Elijah - 2 Kings 2:1. Hmm, can't think of any more off the top of my head. Enoch only had to walk with YHVH before finding himself in YHVH's living quarters whereas Elijah had to be air-lifted. Of course Ezekiel was also abducted by YHVH but he was dumped back home again and died a humans death.
  • You come through the womb and you leave like every one else. This is the sacrifice all great sages has to make when they decide to come into this world to teach the forgotten way to deliverence from samsara. The Buddha, Jesus ... all knew they had to come in the flesh in order to teach and also knew that to leave this world they also need to die just like any other mortals. This is the sacrifice because common mortals had no choice but be born in mortal flesh but these great sages did not have to but they made a choice to come here in order to communicate directly with the mortals the way to escape from Samsara. There is a saying: "if I don't go to hell (to save you) who will?".
  • Enoch and Elijah
  • 3-16-2017 You need to remember that the bible speaks of reality, not religion. In reality all humans die, and only spirits go to heaven. As for Enoch, Hebrews chapter 11 refers to people in the old testament and then says plainly "These all died." Enoch went to heaven, but that means the sky and the stars as well as the place where God lives. So don't read your religion into that word. Keep it real.
