  • Nah slap sounds to immature & simple. Maybe do a Moe, Larry & Curly & poke them in the eyes. I've always wanted to do that to see their reaction. Just imagine as they are babbling on doing what ever that annoys you probably running their smart mouths & BOING-POKE right in the eyes. I bet they'd shut up really fast how bout you?
  • Oh yeah...I'd like to think she knows, too, but she keeps doing the same stupid things over and over...and then I think, well maybe she wants to slap me, too, and then I feel bad and go home :)
  • Bloody hell , they don't give you enough characters on here !!!!!!!
  • Yeah, definitely wish I could slap a certain co-worker!
  • I am fortunate that my co-workers are great, however my boss's girlfriend comes in the office with her kids and interferes like she belongs here. She even gets us to help her run the copy machine when we have work to do. She can be very annoying.
  • I have a co-worker who I would love to shove her phone down her throat... does that count?
  • Yes, one co-worker is an idiot and is breaking all the software this company has written in the last 5 years. Everybody hates him but the CEO loves him. So probably he will be around here for a long long time...
  • I'd love to slap all of them but that would require me to run from room to room and thats just too much effort on my part. I'll just settle with fuming for now.
  • Don't we all...?
  • Oh yes, one in particular gives me so much trouble. I fired her on Wednesday and would have liked to slap her on her way out, but I had to settle for just getting rid of her.
  • Over the years there have been too many to remember. Not so much because they were stupid. More because they were lazy. Everyone picking up their slack.
  • yes - but a slap just wouldnt statisfy - a million army ants and some honey should do the trick LOL
  • Nah, if someone bothers me, eff them. It's just not something getting worked up over.
  • yes. my asst mgr. i have no idea how he got his job!
  • Don't anymore but, I had one who couldn't speak ..Manilla envelopes, were vanilla..Someone named Ruthy was Roofie, pupils were reative, not reactive, it drove me to drink..Anyone coming in thought I was in charge, because she couldn't speak. She QUIT YAY!!!
  • Yes, and I'm sure if we were allowed to that there would be a line.
  • I have at LEAST 4... but one in particular. The thought crosses my mind daily... also the use of a crossbow, shotgun, steak knife, AK47....
  • yes, tonight i have to work with someone who does absolutely nothing (literally, he doesn't he sits in the back room and smokes) and I COULD slap him cause our managers don't care. but he could pound the piss outta me so im not gonna do it.
  • yeh and its sad cause its a really old lady shes like 150 just kidding like 80 but she gets on my nerves so bad she tries to be nice but she tells me to do the dumbest things that she could do on her own like write her name on an envelope or two and she always asks me to fix her computer when she messes it up like i am the expert and even the way she smells gets on my nerves i dont know if thats just cause i am pregnant but wow i sometimes wish i could slap her and say no Joy do it yourself but i would never ever do that not even if i seen her outside of work cause you know how some people say if i seen them outside of work i would get them not this lady i couldnt harm a hair on her head i dont even get how she still has any but yeh
  • Thats why I refrain from slapping or bodily harm....you can get sued for anything these days. So, I like to stick to the pranks.......pennies in the phone, stapler in the Jello ETC.
  • Yes i am that stupid co-worker (slap away)lol.
  • Yes we have all had this experience. Generally my experience with this particular flavor of individual when they make statements to or in front of others in an attempt to make themselves appear brighter, better, more intellegent and of higher value than say, someone like yourself, a co-worker. These types of individuals usually tend to have lower self esteem and need more attention and recoginition, not from their peers but from the person(s) who makes the decisions to retain, promote, etc. You can take a couple avenues when you run into one of these attention mongers. First you can battle them... never a great choice, second you can attempt to play their game on their grounds... another bad choice, third you can go about trying to make sure everyone knows what they are doing... but this usually also just makes you look bad because everyone already knows their game and has probably already had it inflicted upon them at one point or another... OR you can ignor them which could either make them go away in time or destroy your postion in some way. Another bad choice. Here's is what I do... and it is very simple and highly effective. When a comment or statement is made that can be somewhat damaging to you, you should simply answer with a very short statment of something to the effect of "can you please give me an example" or "What do you mean by that, can you please explain" or a big one, "can you please offer some suggestions as to how I can do (fill in the blank) differently"! So you get the idea... You will find that it is EXTREMELY easy for these thyps of individuals to cut co-workers off at the knees... but rarely does anyone turn their own sword back on them. You will effectively put them in a very tight spot VERY quickly. Because they just made an insinuation regarding your performance in front of someone they perceive as very important to their upward mobility. When you turn this back on them that person is going to change gears in their mind and think... Hey... yeah lets hear a resolution. Since your so great at cuttin others down, you should be able to offer some advice to enhance the issue being discussed. I personally start management/employee meetings with a very simple statement. "Do not come to this table with complaints. If you have a complaint then I need you to AT LEAST have one resolution. It may not be the end all resolution but at least think it through enough to come here with something other than complaints. This at least gets the resolution process rolling and someone else may actually be able to build off that initial resolution and the problem often times become quickly resolved or moved into the direction of resolution. No one wants to hear complaints about others who are trying their hardest to make something work and TRUST me that manager or whoever is going to think your quite brilliant to turn that table in such a polite and concise "team player" manner so quickly... All attention will suddenly be off you and All ears will very suddenly be focused on "mister screw your co-workers" brilliant resolution... and trust me, S/he will suddenly be shooting blanks. And I'm gonna bet they will stay FAR away from you in very short order after a couple rounds of that.
  • a few...one biotch in particular.
  • Who DOESN'T!!!????
  • Being at work has never stopped me...and yes lol.
  • I have this annoying co-worker. A couple years ago, he got on my last nerve, so from a touch of rage I grabbed him by the neck, held him against a wall with his feet a foot off the ground, and 'politely' explained to him the situation, and requested that he cease his annoying actions. It worked. Still, never slapped the guy.
  • YES! I have to take a deep breath before I walk in the door every day and tell myself I am only going to see this person no more than a half an hour. But I think he is about to get fired so I don't care anymore.
  • I sure do..... he is so slow, stares at people when they eat and acts like he is a 7 year old in a mans body...he gets on everyones nerves but he is so blind to everything that he really thinks people like him, never in my whole life have a ever met someone like him....he is a begger and he thinks he knows all cuz he has a degree but he is working a job that a degree is not needed.. total retard.
