  • I would except here in the "People's Republic of California" only the criminals can carry guns while it is almost impossible to get a concealed weapons permit. I do take my weapons camping, etc., and will travel with them and have them where ever I can legally, hotel rooms, etc.
  • I am a Texan, I am generally well armed.
    • Mr PantsFellDown
Good for you, Hey I know! If you get mad at yourself, you could shoot YOURSELF! (But do it in a big Texas kind of way cowpoke. *gosh*
  • I concur with what my friend and fellow Texan, Cowboys22 said. I too am usually well armed.
  • Well, I carry my wit with me wherever I go. I'm sure that counts, right? I live in Texas, too, but I don't have a concealed carry permit. My wife and I both intend to get one , though. We can carry a pistol in the car right, so long as it's stored out of sight. As it stands now, I generally carry a knife with me, but I really consider it a tool rather than a weapon.
  • No, where I live it is against the law to carry either a firearm or an offensive weapon, and I have never felt the need to ignore those particular laws.
  • i did carry a gun until i got caught 1nce then i got six month in prison for it but i live in england so dont kno what the law is any were else
  • To quote Rambo First Blood II, "I always believed the mind was the best weapon". I usually bring that with me.
  • I don't usually. When my family travels, though, my husband will have me carry a knife when I get out of the car and go into the bathrooms at rest stops, and he usually carries a gun in the car just in case..(when we travel, not everyday. I'm sure he would if he could, though..)
  • not since I was caught with a switch bladeknife and went through the hassels of the juducial system.
  • yah for sure i would rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it stay straped!!!!!!!!!
  • I have never carried a weapon at any time in my life, and never would. I wish all people would do the same.
  • Yes, my intellect. It protects me better than a gun ever will.
  • I carry a gun everywhere except for church and when I fly commercially.
  • Not any more. But, I used to carry a stun gun with me when I lived in a really bad neighboorhood. Luckily I never had to use it.
  • well actually no but the reason im writing is beacuse i want too satar tcarying a knife around but im only 17 and am afraid the cops will stop me. and i was wonderin i would get in trouble right dont you have to be 18
  • i carry a little knife around me wherever i am, i don't hate anybody enough to shoot them though, there's no coming back from that.
  • Nah, I'd probably end up stabbing/shooting/tasering myself. Accidently, of course!
  • normally on a good day i carry around a sawed off shot gun.
  • I carry a Bible most places in my car; that is pretty much the only weapon I need. I also have my powers of persuasion, my ability to reason, and my two feet. I see no point in people carrying firearms or other lethal weapons. It shows a lack of imagination and confidence unless they are required to do so for their jobs - in which case they are trained in how to avoid using them unless absolutely necessary.
  • I don't carry it all the time. I do carry it when I go hiking. I have a 22 pistol and a bunch of bullets on me. You won't even know this because the gun fits in a eyeglasses case and the bullets are in an Altoids mint tin. Gives whole new meaning to The curiously strong mint.
  • I always have two pocket knives with me at any time (unless flying). However, I don't consider them weapons as I use them as tools pretty much daily in my job.
  • every where i go pa permit holder. every time i hear of some innocent getting shot, i grip my gun tighter and say " that wont be my family " i am prepared to take a life. are you prepared to defend yours? or is it the criminal that will be willing to take your life? you deceide....
  • Yeah, my two fists.
  • I am a highly trained living weapon ... and I always carry my custom made wooden combat cane ... not much good in a shoot out, but it beats knives ... http://www.canemasters.com/ .
  • Why carry a weapon when I have fists of fury! Pow, pow.....heh :/
  • Oh yeah...my fists are licensed to kill...
  • I carry my japanese knife that my father got for me and my pepper spray when I am walking to work... I was followed by a bum one morning on my way to work... He was yelling stuff at me and I was ready for any move he would try on me... But he ended up getting distracted and forgot what he was doing in the first place... It was kind of scary for me... But my father has showed me a few things with self defense... He practiced Martial Arts for years...
  • Yes. Some would consider me to be a weapon without a gun, knife, or taser.
  • I live in Florida, and do have a concealed weapons permit. I am well trained on the safe handling of all weapons I posess, as well as the power they posess and how to use them. I am a self employed contractor and many times have carried large amounts of cash and valuable documents. I typically carry several hand guns, either on my person and or in my vehicle. I do also have a non leathal tazer and pepper spray. We live in a world full of nut jobs "especially" in Florida. People from all over the country move here for many different reasons. It is my personal opinion that it is much better to be well prepared and never have to use your weapons, as opposed to ill prepared wishing you had one. One thing is certain though, if you ever use lethal force you can never take it back. Proceed with caution.
  • I have a lead pipe in my car... does that count?
  • I live in Scotland and here it is an offence to carry knives let alone guns. I am amazed by some of the answers here. No wonder USA has so much gun and knife crimes. We here just dont have the same attitude.
  • yeah i always carry a knife,and i never carry a gun,unless im hunting
  • I have a small shovel that's sharpened to make a decent ax, and is kept under my car seat. I've defended myself from snow and mud, and thankfully, that's all so far.
  • My tongue is my only one weapon.
  • A 10mm.
  • Pocket knife usually. Never had to use it as a weapon, just to cut ropes, strings, fishing line those kind of things. Oh and at a sporting even I had to cut my tickets out of my jacket because the zipper on the pocket wouldn't open!
  • There's not a day you will not catch me with out my weapon, unless of course I'm going into a school or govt. building. The police are reactive and 99% of the time unable to be proactive. One MUST protect him/her self!
  • i just got my consealed weapons permit so i carry my 9 but up till then i carried my knife. im a very responsible person i would only draw it to protect me, family, and friends even then wont fire unless necisary.
  • My taser goes where ever I do, and under my pillow at night.
  • I carry around a knife with me at all times. It is part of my job because I need it.
  • If I'm not going to school, where it could easily get me suspended and/or thrown into a "Juvenile Detention Center", my 3-inch antique pocket knife can usually be found in my pocket. Its edge is pretty dull because I got it at an estate sale and still haven't bothered sharpening it, but it's got a pretty threatening point on it, and if push came to shove, I probably could use to the effect of at least injuring someone enough to deter them. But the point to me carrying a knife is more to prevent injury than it is to facilitate it, so I'm not even that prone to pulling it on people unless I think they're likely to try to beat me up (If they look like they're likely/able to shoot or stab me, I just do what they say). On days when I am going somewhere where weapons are forbidden, the most dangerous things I have on me are the tiny envelope of razor blades and box cutters I still carry in my wallet from my days as a self-injury addict, and my own sharp mind.
  • yes all ways
  • Yes, all the time, as I AM a weapon. And I may carry other things like a pocket or hunting/fishing knife, a gun, or other less well recognised items which may be used as a weapon.
  • Yes I have my concealed weapons permit and I carry a Glock30 45acp and If I don't have that I all ways have a big Spyder Co folding knife or a Gerber Guardian boot knife for just in case.

  • Yes, but we have the hardest time keeping it concealed !!
  • I've had a concealed weapons permit for six years now and am armed most everywhere I go. Better I have it and not need it than vice versa.
  • not sure if you'd consider it a weapon, but i just bought a new toy i've been playing with quite a bit. it's a 532 nm class iiia green laser. fun as heck ;) 11 times brighter than a red laser and has a range of 10,000 feet! i suppose if i blast someones eyes it could be a weapon lol!
  • I tote my Beretta everywhere.
  • Yes I carry my Glock 30 45acp all the time, but I can't carry wile I am at work,so I carry a Spyder co knife or a Gerber Guardian boot knife wile I am at work.

  • I have a concealed carry permit, but I don't carry a weapon everywhere.
  • I carry a Leatherman whenever I leave the house. It's more of a tool than a weapon, but it does have 2 knife blades:
  • Web-shooters (I'm Spider-Man)
  • What the hell is the matter with you people? Yours is a lawless, murderous society. I'm so glad to be English, we don't keep guns as a general rule.
  • In future I want to carry a concealed pistol - we're very fortunate in North Dakota, the license is no problem to get. As things stand now, I carry a knife no matter what, I'm a hunter and fisherman so this is vital, but I always have one on me, even if it's just a small folder. My everyday knife right now is a Gerber Lariat (my first Chinese Gerber, but I'll tell ya, the specs have been kept up, it's well made, and I LOVE it - the usual 60 Rockwell (LOL) Gerber blade) which is a good size folder to use on a deer or pike in the field, and also on two leggeds, if it would be necessary:) That being said, I prefer fixed blades, but they don't fit in a pocket:P I had a little Gerber Guardian (did I mention I own only Gerbers?:) dagger that I used to wear on the inside of my waistband - 'should get another one...
  • I always have a knife on me, When oversea i have my M16, if that helps at all...

  • I dont I sometimes have a pen knife on me, But only when I am going from point A to point B at night In the day, I never bring any weapon with with, Just if I am alone outside at night :)
  • I carry around the most powerful weapon in the World!!! My Mind!!! Let the "Bad Guys" GUESS??? I'm Disabled, but Not Mentally!!! John
  • To carry a weapon should be a result of "you" determining that the risk is there, or will be present justifying how well armed you actually are. Basically ask yourself, what is the risk? Where you live and work must have impact on these choices. I personally live in a small community in the hills of Eastern KY. I don't have the high degree of risk of being robbed, or my loved ones injured when we go to the store, out to eat, movies etc... With that, I'm not armed 100% of the time; it's more of a risk assessment in my case to determine when and where. However, with that said my truck is always armed. I personally am not always armed.
  • yea i alabama i carry a .44 mag and as backup i got an 10+1 acp .45
  • Ya, I carry a.45 pacemaker and a stub nosed .44 magnam and a 17 inch bowie every day of the week
  • Absolutely.
  • I carry a Swiss Army Knife everywhere I go. Not the best weapon, but I use it for more utilitarian purposes. When I turn 21, I intend to get my concealed carry permit and carry a handgun.
  • Nothing. I don't need them.
  • I at 19 years of age open carry everywhere legally allowed in Virginia public a beretta 92fs made in america with a mec-gar 18 round mag that has 17 speer gold dot hollow points in it and a crimson trace laser grip with tritium night sights. I also always have a leatherman wave multi-tool on me at all times. I always try to help good people when I can and like to fix alot of little problems for people and myslef that is why I carry a handgun,multi-tool, and a little keychain l.e.d light with me whenever I go outside the house. I figure yeah its a pain is the butt to remian vigilent carrying this stuff, but if I can make someones day alittle easier or save a life with my gun than that makes it all worth it. • I carry common sense and can talk my way out of difficult situations.A weapon of any sort would do more harm to the situation than it would do good.
