between those choices, definately comedy. I prefer laughing to being grossed out. I can't stand bloody, gory horror. Scary and suspenseful is one thing. I find nothing entertaining about people being sliced and diced. Give me a good ol' Hitchcock movie anytime! "Psycho" was a good, scary movie...and you never once saw the knife touching anyone. I think implied violence and your imagination can be scary enough.

Typical Hollywood comedy is garbage. I've walked out of movies like Austin Powers, etc... Truly hilarious movies are rare, like My Cousin Vinny or Something's Gotta Give... there are some brilliant writers who do make great comedy, but they're rare. I really like a good Horror movie, though.

I like horror movies. There are different types of horror movies and they all have something in common - they depict fear. Fear is when the soul is awake and that horror movies are based on nightmares from the imagination of the director. I personally like some horror movies because the horror genre is the most creative when it comes to fear. As a person who likes horrors, I do like to have a laugh as I like movies with humour as well.
