  • I'm for it.
  • I think its definitely possible! I really liked my bf the minute I saw him and once we spoke there was an instant connection.
  • Yup definitely! Sometimes you can feel an immediate vibe from someone its nice!
  • i think it's awesome when it happens because it seems so intuitive and spontaneous. especially when it's mutual. if your intuition is one you greatly trust, i would definately voice your appeal and move forward with the relationship. in love & luck - pEaCe!
  • It's totally possible. I don't warm to people well and the two I met and took an instant liking to became my best friends.
  • Happens here all the time! Welcome to AB where friends are just a click away....:)
  • I love it... It's so cool to actually be on someones level and feel comfortable right away. It happens a lot, I meet 20-30 people every couple of days.
  • happened to me, we liked each other instantly the minute we saw each other...we felt that connection but he's comitted :-( now, im not sure i still need to see him or get to know him since he has a gf...any advice? purple_addict
  • i dont know but it happened to me when i met you (hey its johnny
  • The few times that's happened to me it's worked out wonderfully. I have had friendships with these folks for 30 years.
  • I think gut instincts are a powerful thing. I trust them. I met two of my life-long friends in the same manner. It was just an instant knowing that we were destined to be friends. And actually when I was introduced to my now-husband, that night I told my best friend who introduced us that I would marry that man and about two years later, I did. That was 28 years ago, so there must be something to it, huh?
  • It depends on the age and the maturity factor. Some teens just don't get what that whole area of life is all about. But the answer to your question, is that what you stated is the definition of Love at First Sight.
  • It has happened to me, and I know for a fact that I will probably not see her again. It is definitely possible.
  • I think some people just click...it's pretty amazing how that works considering how many different types of personalities are out there. I would never have believed it would have happened here without actually seeing them but I have been so blessed by the kindness and openess that is shared here.
  • it's possible, yes, but rare. i love that feeling though! who doesn't love an insta-friend... NO ONE THAT'S WHO!
  • Definately nothing wrong with that at all. You can't help who you are attracted to, especially right in the beginning. Just keep this in mind... FIRST IMPRESSIONS AREN'T EVERYTHING I know for sure, because once I was in a seven year relationship with someone I considered "HOOOOTTT SHIIIIT", but when it came down to it, in the end... I was saying to myself... WTF?!? LOL
  • There's smething to it. My first impressions are often correct.
  • It happens...pretty cool. It just clicks.
  • I met a business associate of my boss about two years ago. He was just so personable and down to earth. I come to find out that he is their attorney and is a very well known and accomplished professional. Usually, a person with a long list of credentials and educated background will be a bit of a braggart or will act like a big-shot. Not, this guy, I got a good vibe off him even before I knew he was a laywer and generally, I have had unpleasant experiences with legal professionals in the past. When I googled the guy and watched him talk about a book her wrote, I liked him even more.
  • It happens, but acting on that as if it were the final word on the relationship can lead to lots of heartache.
  • I could say it is possible if you mean "liking" as in "they are a nice person, they seem genuine, I think I might want to get to know them better and further investigate this interesting person" kind of like. If you mean like as in the prelude or next step to love I think it would take a lot more than one meeting...people put up a good fake front for at least 4-7 dates before you find out who they really are.
  • A couple of words for you... "Blink" by Malcome Gladwell. The power of thinking without thinking. Its basically talking about your gut instinct. However, I instantly was attracted to a guy recently, but my gut instinct said o be weary of him and that I would get hurt... I didnt listen and now im hurting... But I definately would follow my instincts next time around :)
  • It's possible, happens all the time to me. Not that I fall in love with them or anything. Just that I meet them and just like them for some reason.
  • Both hookers and salespeople fall into these categories.
  • I meet people that I like instantly all the time ^.^ I think it's great.
  • I think it's absolutely possible. And I love it when that happens. But then again, there's always the 'meet someone really late at night and instantly become best friends but see them again the next day and have nothing to talk about' issue. That's never so good.
  • Happens all the time, my wife and I both thought each of us were "stuck on ourselves" on our first date but kept bumping into each. As of the first date we started the kind of relationship I think most people really hope for - torrid is the only word - We just celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary and she makes my heart skip a beat every time I wake up next to her. Even better a few hours before that.
  • Its great!!)
  • It happens.
  • I liked many people that I instantly met. It's how fast I fell for them that was the deciding factor. If it started quick, it ended quick. I took my time with the man I eventually married. He will be around for a very long time.
  • i have completely done it!!! But you just gotta make sure they are feelin you the same way other wise you get this weird lil vibe goin on!
  • Happens all the time. I can usually get a really good feel for a person based upon first impressions, and then know right away whether or not we'd get along or like each other.
  • I am big on first impressions and follow my instinct on them alot so I definatly agree you can like someone from the minute you meet them. "You only get one chance at a first impression"
  • Ah...love at first sight...it means you probably have some great chemistry. Great chemistry will make a relationship feel wonderful...but you have to really give a person some time before you know if you love (or should get involved) with them. Hopefully, you'll have found a wonderful person. Sometimes the people we have the most chemistry with--are the last people we should be with. Probably because when we like people, we are sometimes liking something in that person that reminds us of an unresolved relationship that we had with one of our parents, etc. Always...take your time, have fun, before committing!
  • It sounds 2 good 2 be true! That's really rare
  • Where I come from we call that chemistry, aka 'instant connection'. Doesn't mean your in love or meant to be, just means you have chemistry, and that's a good place to start.
  • Natural.
  • I think its fine!!! I think it is the same as meeting someone years and years agon having no contact and when you start talking again and only talking you get feelings!! Love works in mysterious ways!!!
  • I think it happens often and hopefully those two will get the chance to pursue that attraction.
  • I think that the person has the pure positive aura .
  • dats only happened once 4 me and it was so awesome
  • I met a few friends like that. I like my husband right away but did not know he was the "one" because my friend was dating him at the time.
  • It's nice :)
  • I question my own judgment. Too many people are practiced at being charismatic and interesting. They usually have a hidden agenda.
  • I like a lot of people a lot almost instantly...with reservations of course.
  • Yeah sure it seems to happen. +5
