    after opening it probably should be unless its extremely hot where you live it probably wont matter too much have you ever been sick due to bad ketchup? We call it tomato sauce in Australia

    I prefer room-temperature ketchup, just like the restaurants that leave it out on the tables. If you don't eat ketchup often, it is advisable to store it in the fridge.

    Read the bottle. If it says to "refrigerate after opening", then you should do that. Ketchup usually requires refrigeration. 3/31/25
