How do certain Answerbag users end up on the leaderboard when they are not actively using the website?

As a mostly inactive user, I'm guessing that old questions are getting new answers, this puts them nearer the top of the list, they get answered again & the algorithm credits the questioner, moving them up the leaderboard.

other users answer their questions . Nunya hasn't ever been on AB as long as Ive been here and she ends up on the leader board every so often when people drag up her old questions
