Is it a fair to say that women running for POTUS is not a good strategic plan because the country does not want a female president?

It's "a good strategic plan" when it's the best plan you've got. Harris was the best choice under the circumstances (those being: Biden resigning from the election).

No, I don't think that's fair or accurate. The problem has been the last 2 women who ran for the job were immensely unpopular with a large segment of the voting public. 11/6/24
