Sadly, I don't think he was a good president. I think he had good intentions but had no idea what he was doing and fell short on coming up with a coherent plan and also on good leadership skills. His health care reform plan fell apart and didn't accomplish what he promised. His promises about closing Gitmo fell through because he didn't have the foresight to consider what to do with any of the prisoners there. He backed off his tax reform promises as soon as he was elected. His prison reform plans fell through and he didn't put much effort into doing anything about it. His promises about election reform never happened, and it ended up being a big deal the next two election cycles. The database he promised showing conflicts of interest amongst elected public servants never happened. He kept some of his promises about throwing money at green energy, but backed off of anything that had teeth to it - still there was a measurable effect. I'm not sure which Joan River's quote you mean, but I don't think any of the bizarre conspiracies about Obama's personal life are true or matter. I don't think the American people as a whole like Biden - he's like if Obama had no charisma and was too senile to string a sentence together. I think the people would be overjoyed if Biden retired after a single term and a better candidate was promoted by the democratic party. I'd say the exact same thing about Trump and the Republican party. However, the political parties are just nasty and stinky and don't care what anyone thinks, so it'll never happen. 2024 is going to be Trump vs Biden - Round Two, when no one wanted to even see round one of this matchup.
