  • If I can't figure out what is said, I just make up my own lyrics. It would be nice some songs have the vocals a bit higher than the instruments. The lyrics is what the song is all about, and I hate kids that don't think so, overly stupid.

  • Song lyrics have an importance that allows the singer to send a message to people of the world so yes I do care although a lot of songs these days have lyrics in them that are not as meaningful as songs from earlier times. Some singers these days don’t mean what they say in their song. A true music artist would sing lyrics that they really mean from the heart

  • The sound is much more important to me. If I like the sound, I might listen closely enough to learn the lyrics.
  • Well for example I was just listening to Rocky Mountain High by John Denver and I love the way his voice sounds in it and I can barely hear the lyrics. I would like to hear the lyrics more but I have to focus to hear them. Most songs I can pick up lyrics well.

  • YES! If I don't know the lyrics, I can't sing along to my favorite songs. Also, a favorite activity of mine is memorizing lyrics so I can the song to myself while I am working,
  • the lyrics of songs now are so awful. my favorite lyric is the line in Papa was a Rolling Stone by the Temptations. "...where ever he laid his hat was his home, and when he died, all he left us was alone." BEST LYRIC EVER!! πŸ˜…
