• It sounds like something with the cell phone, I'm powering down my cell phone and powering it up
  • Have you ever been down south US? They cut the light on and crank the car!! Power up and power down sound to me more like aircraft terms. But even the huffers have to be powered up and powered down. The huffers turn over the aircraft engines. Or at least used to. They had toggle switches, too that went up and down, just like most light switches. Yet when talking about a radio turn it up means volume and the unit is powered on and off.
