I am 19 and in a new area, need friends and a social life! Any help?
im living in a town near Horley, and i have recently moved from my hometown about an hour away. I am looking to make a circle of friends who are similar to me with similar interests but i find it hard as my interests arnt like sports, or art or anything that you can just go to a class to attend.
As mentioned i am 19, so youth groups and the like i assume will be a bit young for me. Many have suggested working as a way, for one i currently work with family which i understand if probably the main issue howvever I tend not to mingle with work collegues anyway as my interests and things i like to do are a little on the wild side... i guess and i dont like to mix that with my professional life.
Anyway... has anyone got any ideas that can help me atleast do something today which might lead to a friend or two!

Yeah. Become normal, and stop being such a princess. You need them more than they need you . So stop coming up with excuses and thinking you're special. Get out and meet new people or take a train back to your hometown to meet the same people you're so uptight about.
