I think it is the time for you to get a new life away from your parents. Just go with people you can trust. Get a job if you don't already have one.
-
sounds like it, you should go find your own place to live if thats happening

You're 20? How about you move out? And if you mom is paying for your phone, it's hers to do with as she pleases.

Your mom obviously loves you very much. It’s so sad to see all of the missing young women on the news. Their families are distraught and desperate, she doesn’t want you to be the next victim. She sounds like an amazing person, you are truly loved (Pro 13:24).

I agree its time to move out. By the time I was 20 I was married and pregnant. Of course itd be a lot simpler just to get your own phone they're about ten bucks at WalMart and service is less than 50 a month for unlimited talk text and data. You do have a job, right? Parents are supposed to be strict. They're legally responsible for what you do up to a certain age or if you're in their home. But at a certain point you should have earned some trust and their respect for your ability to make wise choices... unless you've proven you're not ready to make mature choices, violated rules etc. and in so doing earned their suspicion and distrust in some way. You haven't exactly given us a full picture to make an informed decision and give a more helpful answer.
