Should i contact this lady back about a job i applied for?
Ive been waiting to hear back from a dental receptionist job that I applied for a few weeks ago...last Thursday the lady sent me an email at 333 pm but I didn't get it until the next day around 4. I responded immediatley giving her a contact number and resume like she asked. The office was already closed by the time I replied though...so I figured I'd hear from her Monday when the office opened back up...but nothing so far...would it be wrong to contact her? Or does it sound like she isnt interested anymore? If I should contact her what should I say?

Queenmist Well I called her on her cellphone yesterday during business hours. I called once and nothing, then I called back a few mins later and still nothing but I left a message asking if she was still interested in setting up a job interview. Didn't hear back from her yesterday...and now today the office is open but still nothing. Today makes it a whole week since she reached out to me and now nothing...I dont know what to do, it feels like she's just ignoring me now. Not a good way to conduct business. -
Linda Joy Well, you were slow to respond first, and they've been short handed. Be patient and don't stop putting in applications. Looking for a job is a full time job. The more applications you put in the better your chances. Apply for everything! It's easier to find a better job when you have one. Good Luck! -
