  • The Absolute Truth? Absolutely YES. So we must answer what is Truth. .......... Freedom of attachment to an illusion, because we do not know anything beyond that. An illusion that keeps us trapped within our Ego. World full of wonders but knowledge of and experience of never brings deep Peace or understanding, or real contentment. Something missing? Yes. .......... Knowledge of the Absolute Truth. The actual experience of it. Our Egos create a separation from the oneness of that Absolute Truth. .......... As a drop of the ocean does not realize that it is the ocean, because it sees itself as separate. Once the drop returns to the ocean it realizes that it is the ocean. .......... That is the Truth that must be experienced to understand. So instead of seeing ourselves as separate, experiencing this sets us free. .......... WE are that drop in the ocean of consciousness. .......... God exists within us as us. .......... Knowledge of this, experiencing this, will set one free. As Ego dissolves, all else dissolves. As Ego rises all else will rise.
  • Only if the truth is exposed.
  • Depends as people like Trump don't believe in "truth" only "opinions".
  • NO! No the "truth" will NOT do anything good for you, believe me I know from first hand experience. I am NOT kidding here, my sincere and honest advice to anyone seeking a better life and security in their lives - LEARN how to lie and deal with other people's lies. Our whole world is filled with lies, and if you see a lie and say "No! That's wrong! It's a lie to say....." YOU will look like a fool and you will be treated like a leper. I think one of the BEST pieces of writing on the subject of lying was written by Carl? (or was it Bill?) Marlantes in his GREAT book "What It Is Like To Go To War," he has a whole chapter on the subject of lies and why you NEED to lie and deal with lies. Honestly, I am NOT lying when I say to quit thinking about the truth, understand the how and why of other people's lies, and figure out the best lies to tell for yourself and learn how to tell those lies convincingly.

I wouldn't want to live like that. No one can trust anything you say. I'm much happier and I like myself better when I tell the truth.
  • i think so
  • To your question....yes........To the description part of your question......Hell yes.
    • Linda Joy
It can definitely go both ways.
  • Yes I do. I also believe the all seeing eye is a sign of occultism.
  • It's a heck of a lot easier to tell the truth and not have to remember which lie you told to whom. As to incarceration, courts generally do not look favorably on perjurers.
  • This phrase was first spoken by Jesus, he is referring to the truth about religious teachings (John 8:31,32). He is inviting his listeners to evaluate the things that they have heard about God and to carefully examine the Scriptures to make sure their beliefs are in harmony with written word. As of right now, seeking the truth about God does not warrant incarceration in the United States.
  • Yes the Truth did set me free. John 14:6 (KJV) 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
    • Cry me a River
I was wondering if anyone was going to state the truth..
