Very long story short: my biological father beat me this summer for absolutely no reason other than being drunk (and I assume angry about my mother remarrying, I concluded this from his shouting). I called the police and the officer that showed up was one of his buddies from high school. The injuries I received included massive amount of bruising on my right side, deep scratches on my legs, I was sure I had a head injury like a concussion or something else internal but my mother would not take me to the doctor to find out, a black eye, busted lip, and my hair was so matted from him throwing me around by if that I actually had to cut some of it off. The officer saw all these things along with my shredded clothes and the room that I was in had been destroyed by him. The officer told me that I was putting on a good show and said obviously there was nothing to investigate. He asked me to show him all the I injuries I received and I showed him most, but somewhere on my breasts and my back and other areas I didn't want to show a man, especially after what had happened. He made a huge fuss of me not showing him, and mocked me after I requested another woman look at the injuries, saying that a delinquent like me was certainly not a woman and that all I saw was all I was going to get. Answer got cut short but the cop left and my mother did nothing. How legal is all of this and what I can I do to get myself help???
