Help me fix my pup.
So my 8month old maltipoo got this injury by his anus that was equivalent to a hole, about an inch deep I think. So I rinsed it every 4hrs with peroxide and applied this first aid antibiotic ointment to the wound. I think he got the wound recently because it looked fresh. The wound healed about two days after applying the ointment and cleaning it. And yes I did reapply after flushing it with peroxide. Now it looks like the picture I posted. It's filled with liquid and it's turning purple. My dad was a nurse so he told me to wait and let it open up to drain, but it doesn't seem to be getting better, and I want to make sure he doesn't get worse. He did lick the wound before it closed up, and it still bothers him now. I don't have the expenses to take him to a vet, let alone get him checked out. If there are any home remedies i could preform then id love to know, if not then I'll wait and see if it gets better or wait till I get the money to take him, but that'll be another month from now. Other than him sniffing the wound he's not acting any differently.
