• It means that when you believe in God and worship God, you're choosing to honor his greatness on your own -- and not just be a sock puppet where he's praising himself.
  • It was God
  • Jehovah God is NOT seeking to force people to be obedient...He wants people to be obedient or not... With this outcome... (Psalm 37:9) For evil men will be done away with, But those hoping in Jehovah will possess the earth. He wants the earth to be the home of loyal obedient [ by their own choice ] people. The RCC and its history of FORCED obedience is simply wrong.

I said amen to a very similar answer so now I can say amen again.
  • It doesn't unless we use our free will to praise and serve God. Which is the real reason we have it.
  • 2-14-2017 Free will is a human concept. It is also typically human for people to pretend they know something when they don't. Many/most people don't know what "free" means, or what "will" means, or what they mean together.

2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
  • God is looking fkr people who are truly good and who will follow him of their kown free will. He has given them a way (thr holy spirit) and has said *choose life or death*, and whatever we choose we shall have. Free will thus serves him by giving him servants of a highrr mind. He could have made us without free will but then we woudlnt be as magnificent of beings would we? Also being truly good rewuires and element of choice

Requires an element of choice. If we could have chosen evil but chose good instead, how much more worthy would a person be to serve God, when we have of our own choosing shunned evil like he does
  • Those who PROPERLY serve Jehovah God will be obedient to Jesus' teachings... (Matthew 28:19, 20) Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.
  • From the very beginning of God's creation of human (Adam and Eve) God gave His creation free will. So that is how Adam and Eve had free will to decide and then to eat of the tree of knowledge.
  • Jehovah God is our creator and wants to give us everlasting life on a paradise earth, but its up to us if we want to live under his rulership. We see what the world of mankind is like today by not choosing his rulership and doing their own thing. 2Timonty 3;1-5 states what the spirit of the world of mankind would be like in our day. God give us the free will to apply Matthew 22:37,38 also John 13:34,35. We worship him because we love him and want to live under his Sovereignty.
