-
No fun, no life, and no more Doom....nightmare.
-

-
Even more boring than it is now :(
-
No more Answerbag for a while, plus it would make it harder to do my homework assignments.
-
Nonexistent haha well seeing how it is the main way I communicate, Do research for school or personal interest, and it is going to be my career.
-
ALOT different, to say the least. I'd have more time with Sexy Sadie, though, I suppose. (Sexy Sadie is my guitar, lol.)
-
Wow! So much more difficult! The research I do would be much harder. Communication would be less frequent - e-mail is so easy and fast. I wouldn't have been able to fix and preserve hundreds of old-time family photographs and distribute them to interested others. The statistical work would have been total drudgery. There'd be no pretty games to play online. I couldn't shop nearly so quickly and effectively. And since so many OTHER devices (besides my computer[s]) contain computer chips, my car wouldn't work, my digital camera wouldn't work, and so on and so on.
-
All my housework would be caught up,I would get in more excerise time, there would be no weeds in the garden and I would read my magazines when they come in instead of weeks later when it turns into old news..but I wouldn't trade it in because I have met some of the kindest people here(smilimg at you Rickster:).. and it feels like family...
-
Please don't ask such terrifying questions.
-
I would be sitting at a table moving stuff around with a live mouse, not as much fun.
-
It would be back to the books big time. Before computers I was an avid reader, mostly about information, non-fiction things with a bit of fiction thrown in. I still read but not to the extreme that I was doing. Ah, I remember way back in 1995, all that free time. WOrk all done, house clean, sewing and ironing all caught up. Sitting outside to read.....
-
would suk ballz! id cut my head off!
-
I'd be bored out of my mind, therefor ending up drinking, then probably doing something I'd regret, ending in a very bad life :(
-
That's a contradiction; there can't BE life without my computer...
-
Life would be boring to me.
-
i would have less communication with my friends, and possibly less friends!
-
I'd go outside more.
-
I'd invent the computer myself and be the next Linus Torvald :D
-
Very different. I probably would be reading a lot and would be outside.
-
Pretty much the same as it always is. I've been without computers for nearly all of my life.
-
I would not know as much as I do now, because I don't have the time to go to the library and look up every passing question that comes into my mind like I do with the Internet. And communicating with my students parents would take MUCH more time. I live by email!
-
I've worked in the computer field since 1967, and we were told then that someday we would have the power of a mainframe on our desktop. It only took a few years with the DEC PDP-8 and then the PDP-11. Then then el cheapo toy boxes came along and the future started looking a little brighter. With the PC and mainframe access, my professional world with the mainframe environment became more portable and I can download and upload code and data between various platforms and not loose stuff I create. It prevents me from having to re-invent the wheel every time I go to a new contract, and I can use tried and tested code right away when I come into a new shop. Job searching for new contracts is essential, and my computer is right there for me, days, nights, and weekends. I need that. Continued education and training is not just important, it's vital, and CBT courses and development environments are solid gold. Life without my computer would be much less rewarding.

-
My sex life would decrease by 85%.
-
a lot harder. i would have to put so much more effort into researching, though the time spent doing it may be the same without other things distracting me from getting work done. I wouldnt know as much as I do either or be where i am today.
-
A lot less informed and interesting, to say the least.
-
I would never make it through school. Plus I would have never met my boyfriend, and life would be a lot worse without him =P

my life, would have very big holes in it without a computer. I do most of my school work on my computer, its where I spend my free time, how I communicate, Its hard to imagine life without it. I guess I would probably go for more bike rides and watch more tv, and play more xbox and piano :P

SCary thought my friend. I have been working as a computer operator for over 31 years. Wonder what my career would have been without them?
-

It will be too ordinary. =D
-
I'd be out of a job, plus no easy way to contact my friends or my family.
-
I'm on my HTC smartphone
-
Better, I'm afraid. Without computer and TV better still.
-
My life would be less interesting without access to my computer. However, I managed to live okay for the first 50 years before I bought a computer.
-
Much like it was before 1986 or so.
-
Without *my* computer? Mostly the same, I guess; I'd just be using someone else's computer.
-
I can live without my home computer or email or a cell phone internet to waste my time but my job involves fixing people's computers and without that I'd be broke
-
Calmer, more relaxed, far more civil. I lived without a computer until 1990, and even then, I had only a word processor, until the early 2000s, when I started to use the Internet. Life was, in my view, better. Today, people are utterly wedded to their devices, and this has been to the detriment of social discourse and engagement. I'd be quite happy to return to the days of my IBM selectric typewriter and no Internet at all.
-
I would still be able to survive but without a computer I would probably be bored
-
Devastation for sure! I don't use a smartphone but, I have like a whole bunch of computers. I don't like smartphones either.
-
very very Boring
-
There WAS a life without computers once upon a time! Lets divide this answer into two sections. PROS: We'll realize the difference between Real World and Virtual World. We'll spend more time with our family. Vacations. Gatherings. Family functions. Fun. Love stories will have a reality. :P No more email and social media proposes. Rather the traditional methods will come into practice. Love letters, Long walks, Beach romances, Long phone calls, Shall I ask your parents?, etc. etc. Interesting? Play traditional games outside our houses instead of virtual computer games. That running on the streets, laughing, shouting. Ahh! That was Life. Thousands of books in the libraries will be referred to instead of Wikipedia. CONS: Think about a working environment without them. :O Rooms piled up with documents and files. Software Engineers, Coders? oops! Digital India? :P Movies? :D and there are many many many more that could be included in both the sections. The thought of having a life without them is too good. It feels as if only then we"ll actually have a Life.
