If you had to get rid of all the tools in your toolbox except for one, which one would you keep?

I would hate to lose most of them, but the one I'd keep is my cordless, impact screwdriver.

Leatherman PST2000. It does it all! And I don't have a tool box, I have three different tool BAGS (boxes are so last decade). Good question, made me think for a minute!

Well, I learned a long while ago that "All tools inthe tool box are hammers, except screw drivers - they're chisels. So, I'll have to say that (besides my Leatherman that's actually on my hip), I'd have to keep the tool box - TO STEAL ALL OF YOUR TOOLS!!!! LMAO!! Just kiddin', I'd keep the needlenose vise grips.

I don't have an organized tool box--but I find myself using a screwdriver most often. It can be used to do the obvious, but also pries things open, bangs things closed, shaves ragged edges, makes measuring marks, digs, punches holes and on and on. Couldn't live without my trusty screwdriver.

I would keep a hammer, most things can be fixed, modified, or just make the problem go away forever.

I'd keep the hammer. What a versatile tool! They're like sharks; they've changed little since their inception because they are so perfect!

That actually happened to me! A robber came into our garage and stole all our tools, but my screwdriver was in the house, because no one had put it away. I used that for all my needs until the insurance check arrived and we replaced them. We now have two tool chests, one inside and one outside, plus two computer tool kits, plus my sewing machine tool kit.
