Vegetable soup is an excellent remedy, not only does it helps with losing weight; it often helps the immune system recover from colds.

Veggie soups consisting of carrots, onions, garlic, celery, beans, zucchini, and scallions is quite healthy. Such soups with broth added are often very low in calories, yet very filling and can help you lose as much weight as you want.

Weight loss occurs from eating soup because soups are primarily made up of liquids filled with ample nutrients from the veggies it contains; this makes the digestion process fairly simple. Weight loss varies from person to person based on consumption patterns and current BMI (Body Mass Index).

Vegetable soups can help you to burn more fat by providing you with the energy to become more active. The more activities you partake in, the more weight you are capable of losing.
Hydration
Being that soups are filled with liquid from broth or water, it is able to keep the body well hydrated; especially if one is sick. The liquids are able to flush fat, mucus and other toxins out of the body allowing you to reduce your body weight rather quickly.
Fiber
Vegetable soups are often high in fiber which causes you to dispose of fecal matter more frequently. Fiber makes your digestive system regular and relieves constipation or diarrhea.
