My house phone or landline, is no more. Cellphones serve the same purpose and they have no cords.

I prefer it to be wireless because I can take it anywhere I want or need to go. Like the bathroom.

Both. When the power goes out I can still use the one with the cord.

I don't have a house phone....but if I did...I would want it to have a cord...so I don't lose it!

Corded -- i switch to a cordless if i need mobility but the corded landline phone is the best voice quality you can get.

I prefer to have a non corded phone. Makes it easier to carry with me while I watch my daughter or cook. I have digital service and when the power is off it doesn't work so I have a corded one for those times.

I have both, one for conveinance, one for when the power goes out.
