  • would a +4 count as encouragement?
  • The smartest thing you will ever do for yourself. A decision that you will never, never regret. Your liberation from slavery.
  • It gets better Gina, Hang in there. Good luck. I know its hard but once you beat it you'll be glad you did.
  • Thanks Sexy.... ;-)
  • More power to you! You can do it! You will be glad you made this decission to quit!!!
  • Good luck Wants To Tear You Apart. Try putting the money you would normally spend each day on smoking into a mini-safe or something, and the longer you manage to hold out the more your little nest egg will grow, and at the end of the year you will have a nice little bundle of cash that would normally have went up in smoke to treat yourself to a holiday or something.
  • You go girl! Woohoo! +4
  • Ooh well done, keep up the good work :)
  • Hey good going! You made it through hell week, 7 days now, right?
  • I have been through that. I quit about 7 years ago, after 8 years of smoking. The withdrawals suck, but just power through it. If you're not already, use the patch or the gum to get a handle off the withdrawal. The second week gets better. I used cough drops to keep my mouth busy(yes I know haha) and just tried to occupy my mind with other things. It can be done, it took me tons of times, Good luck, drop me a comment on here or send me an email for support.
  • As a smoker myself, would it be hypocritical of me if I tried?
  • Fair play!! i'm trying myself and on my 18th day and now finding it quite hard, keep going :)it will be worth it!
  • I told her NOT to get that tatoo!
  • that's awesome! Keep going I've been a non-smoker for almost 2 years. Thanks to my son cos I gave up when I was pregnant. Just pretend you are pregnant...lol
  • You Can Do IT!!! I smoked for 16 years and I'm comming up on year 4 as a nonsmoker. That first year was the up hill side. All smoooooooth sailing after that. When I first quit, I still went to my favorite gas station where I always bought my smokes except I spent the money on Lottery Tickets instead! Good Times. Hang In There!!
  • Well, I'll go this far. If you want to, I hope you make it. If you don't want to I hope you don't. The in-crowd pressure isn't worth it.
  • Good luck! Me & my wife gave up the cancer sticks together on the same day 8 years ago. No patches just sheer will power & inner strength. My motivation too you would be.Think of what you would gain in terms of health,& wealth. You feel a tremendous sense of achievment & release. You will succeed, if you truly want to!!
