  • We leave our shoes at the door and wear houseshoes/flippys in the house.
  • I wear my shoes inside my home, but when I get my own house I think I'm going to enforce a no shoe rule in it. Growing up we weren't allowed to and I think it really did keep things neater and cleaner.
  • Shoes are left at the door.
  • wear them in and put them in the closet.
  • my place is so messy , i take my shoes off to go OUTSIDE ;-)
  • ...not!!! I have to use a magnifying glass to see up close & then it's still hard to see...HOWEVER...it's the relaxing "gist" of the picture I like...definately relaxing & kicking back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • I kick them off inside the door.
  • Yes,but mostly I wear slippers out to get things like smoking and take them off inside, some days I am in and out too often to take them off and put them back on all the time, that's what vacuum cleaners were made for.
  • We remove them and leave them by the door. In Honolulu we left our "slippers" or sandals or shoes outside the door of my son's condo...the people across the hall did the same. They have little charms that are "slippers" which say "Mahalo for taking your shoes off." It is part of the culture and an insult to the people if you don't remove your shoes before entering their homes..you are tracking in germs/dirt from the outside and that simply is not done in the Islands...which, of course, you already know! :)
