Depends on the people sleeping on them. I wash ours once a week and we bathe regularly. If our intimate activities get the sheets dirty, then I wash them sooner. My step-son, who lives with us, bathes less, sleeps directly on the mattress and I don't even want to talk about the smell.

Once a week is what my mom has always told me because dead skin gets on them and also if you have allergies it removes allergens.
