If that repented liar had accepted Jesus as his savior, absolutely.
-
they say as long as you believe in god you will be saved. so basically you could be a serial killing, child molesting, drug dealing, animal killer and stil to to heaven. are you sure this religion bs is really reliable??
-
if you honestly want forgiveness and work on making it better, than yes.
-
we are told if you are saved (accepted the birth death resurrection of Christ and have ask Jesus to save you from your sins) that our sins are erased, forgiven cleansed by the blood of our savior. the lord has forgave you, have peace, and don't let satan play mind games with you.
-
A repented anything can go to Heaven
-
I'm kinda planning on it.
-
ANYBODY can go to heaven if they sincerely repent their sins, are truely sorry and accept Jesus into their lives. He died for our sins, he didn't have any.

flaws flaws flaws..the bible and religion is full of them..the fact is (if one considers god to even be real..I do not) that honestly who on this planet hasn't committed at least one sin? What in the world isn't considered a sin by some religion's standards? NO ONE is devoid of sin if they believe sin exists and so essentially we all will go to hell for either sinning or not believeing in sin/god, unless we repent and so then if a person can repent and go to heaven for lying he can pretty much repent for any sin...if god were to block a liar from entering heaven he would have to block other repentent sinners wouldn't he? Because how much weight is in sin? There's no matrix in the bible showing that a lie is worse than lust or sloth is worse than coveting thy neighbors flatscreen tv is there?! nope. I like to think if god existed that he's be an unconditional loving kind of guy that realized we were all his children and all children do good and bad, but he loves them just the same...we are dumb little naive, unknowing creatures compared to a god that can make universes..can we really be held liable for all that we do through our ignorance? I think not. We need to do wrong to learn what is right.

I am a liar. Jesus said "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life." I believe him who sent Jesus.
-
Yes
-
We are all liars at some point in our life. Everyone has done it. No doubt about it. Thing is. To repent means to 'turn away'. So this man turned away from what he was doing. And God can see a persons heart, if they are genuine
-
In that case, nobody's going to go to heaven. Every person is wicked and sinful. None of us deserve heaven; all deserve hell. But God grants us the gift of salvation when we believe unto His name, repent of our sins, and acknowledge Him as the ruler of our life. All of us sinned. Even murderers accept Jesus. All is forgiven through the blood of Jesus... amazing huh :D
-
Very few people are invited to heaven. The number is very limited and those that do go are very faithful and will be kings and priests in heaven.
-
Yes.

Word is Jesus forgives most everything yo...

No & No. * Good question to expose the 'Church' as a 'sin-laundry', "so long as one pays the 'purveyors of sin', e.g. 'the best cut of the burnt offering', one can wash ...and wash again!" ;)) +10

Yeah! It's God's own 'Rehabilitation of Offenders Act' But like everything else, it works only after you are dead. A mugger will say 'your money or your life!' then repent and go to heaven. The priests say: 'your money AND your life! So, 'no guarantee, no money back'!

Luke 17:4

we all lie dude. everyone
-
So they say. However, they also say that you have to believe in Jesus Christ so what about the rest of humanity?
-
Yes. The term 'repented' means they have confessed their sin to God and have turned from sin. ALL have sinned. Jesus did not come to call the righteous (self-righteous) but sinners to repentance. 1John3:1-10 "How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure. Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him. Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother." So, if the person you are asking about has turned in faith to Christ and his atoning sacrifice, confessed he/she is a sinner to God, and repented (turned from sin) then he/she is born-again and a child of God. Their sins are forgiven and they will go to heaven.

He is whom He says He is. http://www.libchrist.com/bible/apoligetic.html

Yes
-
Ummm. Yes.
-
Yes, as long as he really is repented and he seriously believes in Jesus.

Of course, this is what salvation is all about. This also helps explain that God is Love. Dualism is the view that two fundamental concepts exist, which often oppose each other, such as good vs evil, light vs dark, or male vs female. Christianity is very non-dualistic. God absolute and infinite. The devil is an opposing character, but is subordinate to God. The Christian faith thus does not consider the duality of good and evil to be two equal and opposing forces. The teachings and parables of Jesus Christ cannot be understood by a dualist mind: • Finding is losing • Losing is finding • The poor are rich • Hunger is satisfaction • Satisfaction is emptiness • Weeping is bliss • Death is real life Dualism teaches: • Good - Bad • Crime - Justice • Sin - Damnation But in Christianity, God breaks the dualist rules with love, mercy, and forgiveness. Christianity is a "both" mentality, not "either" or "or" • Both flesh and spirit • Both God and man • Both Adam and Christ • Both law and faith • Both Creation and Evolution Jesus is • Not upset with the repentent sinner • Upset with people who think they are not sinners With love in Christ.

According to the bible, yes. You can be a murdering, child molesting, son of b...... well you get the idea, and so long as you repent and ask forgiveness and accept Jesus you get to go to heaven and be saved.
-
Of course.
-
Yes even if you have sinned you can go to heaven , but you have to truly ask for forgiveness , over time you'll become more faithful and then God will know truly what is in your heart. :)
-
He has let murderers, rapists, prostitutes, and all kinds of sinners go to heaven for repenting of their sin and unbelief in Him. Jesus the Christ is certainly the Son of God and He has that unique prerogative to forgive sins. Regardless of the sin, Christ will receive sinful men by faith in Him alone.
-
lol...this is ludicrous....no one has gone to heaven yet, and won't till the ROLL is called up yonder...and most adamantly , YES, i do think HE will and thank HIS GRACE for it.....that we sinners can REPENT and have the HOPE HE gave us all.....
-
Yes, the thief on the cross with Him repented and Jesus welcomed him.
-
Only a human being complete with limited capacity to understand anything beyond his paltry ego would even consider God to think as we do. God doesn't "think" or "reason" God is. We are all His children. Liars are not even in the bad to the bone category. Of course all are forgiven who sincerely wish to be forgiven.
-
Yep! Repent your sins and take Jesus as your saviour!
-
This will be decided at the appropriate time and place, it is not my task to judge others.

This is what I believe in {O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion. Say nothing about God except the truth. The Messiah Jesus son of Mary was a Messenger of God, the fulfillment of His Word to Mary, created according to the laws of creation and given free will from the Divine Energy (like all human beings 15:29, 32:7-9, 38:72). Believe in God and His Messengers, and say not: “Three”. Cease! It is for your own good. God is but One God. Far removed it is from His Supreme Majesty that He should have a son. Everything in the Highs and everything in the Lows belongs to Him. God is enough as a Trustee (of the Universe)}. [2:255]Quran The Almighty God created Adam without a father or a mother, and the creation of Eve without mother , is it wonder that creates Jesus without a father. The name (the word of God) meaning that the creation of the order of God Almighty, saying, Be and he was. And name it (the spirit of him) on the clear, it is the spirit of life that created it, in addition to the same honor and honor, as we say: the house of God, and the like, God has said about Adam (If unused, and breathed into him of his spiritual then they bowing) (alhjr: 29)and No one say that Adam Son of God . As for repentance .. God alone who forgives if a person repents { Anyone who transgresses against his or her own 'self', then seeks God's forgiveness, will find God Forgiving, Merciful. [The way to achieve God's forgiveness (protection from the detriment of violations) is repentance (returning to the right path), }(4:110)Quran {from Him ( God ), as well as forgiveness and Grace. God is ever Forgiving, Merciful}?(4:96 ) Quran {time except what has already happened in the past. God is Forgiving, Merciful}(4:25 )Quran {..that God's Law of Requital is ever vigilant. And God is Forgiving, Merciful. (So, He has shown you how to become worthy of His Mercy}(5:89)Quran {and then repents and makes amends should know that He is(God) Forgiving, Merciful}(6:54)Quran

Simple. If a repented liar was sincere, then why would Jesus not forgive a liar? After all, the New Testament is all about forgiveness.
