ohh yeah
-
not really. it pisses me off. its either too burnt, not done, too hot, catches on fire, or falls off. and it takes a dillion hours to get it to golden brown. but when it is golden brown it's pretty good.
-
like to do
-
It's sooo great!! Love to do it when I'm out camping or on holiday on our yacht :)

-
"....these are a few of my favourite things"...
-

I always enjoyed it as a child but have not done it in many years. I think it is funny, how when we are children we find time to embrace these little treats, but when we get older, we refuse to find time for them.
-
Only if there is Hershey's milk chocolate and Graham crackers too
-
YES! i love toasted christmas (what i call marshmallows)

Yes, I have very fond memories of doing this as a child at camps. We still do this when we go away on holidays and when we braai at home.

Sure do!.
-
I think I'm the only person who just likes the marshmallows raw.
-
Used to. Now that gooey stuff just makes me sick with all that sugar attached to it. Funny how our bodies change as we age.

I don't mind toasting them for the kids but I won't eat one, too sweet for me.
-
Open fire? Heck, we do it every morning first thing in the morning in our wood stove before we stoke up the fire for the day. Can't waste those beautiful glowing coals :-)
-
Yes. It is one of the great simple pleasures in life.
-
yes!
-
I haven't done that since the 4th grade.
-
it makes for a nice atmosphere. other activities have to be happening as well in order for the open fire to get built. family times at the beach in the evening, fond memories. now i toast my marshmallows over the burner in the kitchen.
-
Me? ....Naah! I don't have a sweet tooth...but my children love it!!
-
I love that. I agree that grahm crackers and chocolate are essential, but I also like lighting them on fire, blowing them out and then eating them. I think they're called flaming sheep.
-
Oh how I yearn to roast a marshmallow on an open fire right now...mmmm...

Sure. if no open fire is available, you can turn on a stove burner and achieve the same effect as an open fire.
