-

-
I live in the sticks. About the only sound that ever wakes me is thunder.
-
No but,the sounds within my mind does that.
-
Never - All I hear is the sound of nature.
-
Sometimes, especially my dogs barking.
-
Yes! Last night (I live in a Townhouse) the neighbors decided to have an argument outside at 2:30 am. I was awakened out of my coma and was wondering why they couldn't go inside and finish the spat. So, that wasn't it, at 6:00 am an ambulance came by and must have stopped at the assisted living home down the street. I mean I forgive that noise, but it definitely had me awake.
-
Not at all, I'm am a VERY heavy sleeper XD
-
never. I grew up with a railroad 100 feet from my room. In college I lived across the street from a hospital next to the helipad. Now I have 5 kids, work 3rd shift (so I sleep in the afternoon). My wife says I have had kids climbing on me and jumping on the bed while I was sleeping.
-

You would not believe what a Red Fox, mating, sounds like. Also, Coyotes, they'll raise the hair on the back of your neck.
-
rarely
-
I never noticed, I'm sleeping.
-
Sirens bother me ... even though I am four blocks from the main highway ...
-
Yes. Those damn birds chirping at the break of dawn, welcoming the new day; when I have 2 hours more to sleep before starting mine.
-
Yes, only the crickets =)
-
No, I seldom hear outside noises. They are there, I just seldom notice them when I sleep.
-
Yes, especially the cat fights.
-
yes. I am a light sleeper and I hear everything which keeps me from sleeping
-
I live in the country so outside sounds only bother me if they are not the usual sounds....such as sirens, thumping stereos, etc.
-
Sometimes. Generally it has to be something abnormal such as the idiot down the street knocking on our door in the middle of the night or throwing fire crackers, but some natural noises also bother me. Mostly, I fear the sound of wind, high winds that is. See, I have a terrible fear of tornados, so if it is stormy and the winds are high, I cannot fall asleep.
-
Yes, there's a few crows around here that I'd like to blast with my shotgun.
-
Occasionally a kid or two outside my window will wake me by being LOUD. :o)
-
I HAVE to sleep with a fan to drown out noise. Even then, I'll still wake up to just about anything. I'm one of the lightest sleepers you'll meet.
-
noise, light, sounds... nothing can beat a sleep after "hard" work so when I sleep after working "HARD" nothing disturbs me....
-
Only when the cops go flying by my house/
-
Sometimes. The explosion that happened while I was asleep in my rack on a submarine while we were at test depth comes to mind. I can honestly say THAT disturbed my sleep. But while on a sub, a more subtle disturbance was the loss of ventilation noise in my rack while sleeping. The loss of fans is an immediate indication that something is wrong, because it most likely meant we lost both non-vital electrical buses on the electric plant for some reason. Like a reactor scram, for example. Which was a sure sign that I was going to lose some sleep because of a drill or because I would have to troubleshoot and repair something and help restore the propulsion plant.
-
No. The sounds inside rarely disturb my sleep, including the alarm clock.
-
Yes, birds, dogs, trucks, landscapers, and I need my sleep.
-
only when it rains otherwise im completely knock unconscious
-
no when ever i sleep i would be in my world of joy........
-
Not really!
-
Never. In fact, I remember going upstate NY as a kid and hearing NOTHING outside. In fact, the quiet was so LOUD I couldn't sleep! :)
-
One of the few that disturb me at night are cats mating in the woods. Freakish baby-crying like sound! eeek :( *hides under covers*
-
Not if it's "white noise"; i.e. waves from the ocean.
-
Maybe if someone yells my name.
-
Not unless I try and sleep in when the gardening maintenance is outside my window on Saturday mornings.
-
Yes,I'm a country boy. No Cars after 10 please
-
Yes. Cat fights, coyote yips and howls(actually that's a pleasant sound in my book), the guy starting his 18 wheeler up at 3 in the morning and letting it run 30 minutes before he leaves. Even someone stepping onto the porch downstairs has disturbed my sleep before.
-
Very rarely, and only if something out of the ordinary. I love to go to sleep with rain and wind outside.
-
no not all
-
My sister can't sleep when she comes to my house because she says there are too many outside sounds. I never hear anything, and have slept through several thunderstorms complete with tornado sirens. I went to her house recently, ten miles out in the country outside of a small town in Oklahoma, and couldn't sleep because there were NO sounds. It was completely still. I felt like I was the only thing alive on the planet.
-
No not really, not much, now if they were inside then problably yeah, but no the sounds outside don't disturb me often,but then i get back sleep again "}}
