I liked Clinton, but he shouldn't have done what he did. I'd say give him another chance.
-
I thought he was a pretty good president actually, personal morals issue aside with Monica. I would surely prefer him to Bush now, I can say that easily.
-
Yes.
-
I can't I'm British, but I think he made a great president and did you proud.
-
It depends on who he was running against, but most likely no. I didn't vote for him the two times he won (but I live in California, so voting anything but Democrat has been pointless for years).
-
LOL, no. I would never consider voting for a liar and a cheat.
-
No more Clintons. No more Bushes. I'm not so keen on seeing Hillary's name on the electronic ballot either.
-
I would NEVER vote for for ANY previous leader of the 'FREE world' or ANYBODY who called for the imprisonment (and succeeded) of somebody who only drew a political cartoon. I love America, and he doesn't support my vision of America.
-
Yes I most certainly would. He got caught..yea, but how many do you think are doing it now or have done it before in office and just have'nt got caught?
-
Yeah! Aside from personal infidelities, he was a great president. Bush through us into a deficit, put the environment in the backburner, and put his interests (oil) first. Clinton was a man of the people!
-
I most certainly would not. I wouldn't vote for George W. Bush, I wouldn't vote for Al Gore, in their day I wouldn't have voted for Dwight D Eisenhower, Ronald Regan, Jimmy Carter John F. Kennedy or any other Presidential candidate that may spring to mind. However, as I'm not a US citizen they wouldn't let me even if I wanted to.
-
I believe I would. He's smart and savvy and well-intentioned. He's an effective negotiator and consensus builder. His private life has no bearing on his ability to lead, and I think he did a good job as leader.
-
Yes - a thousand times yes!
-
if it kept Hillary out of office, yes
-
yes, i think he is such a smart guy
-
Yes, I'm pretty sure I would.
-
For God's sake no.
-
Not really. He'd be better than Bush, but he was a centre-wing politician in a left-wing political party, and that offends me.
-
Yes. I'd much prefer a president who gets bj's in the oval office and lies about it than a president who destabilizes the entire middle east and lies about why.
-
No, but he would make an excellent first husband.
-
He was certainly better than the present man and more honest??????
-
NO WAY - ALL HE IS IS A GOOD TALKER! SINCE HIS PRESIDENCY THERE HAS BEEN A MORAL DECLINE IN THIS COUNTRY. HE FOOLED ALOT A PEOPLE. ALOT OF THE PROBLEMS WE ARE NOW EXPERIENCING CAN BE TRACED BACK WHEN HE TOOK OFFICE. YET PEOPLE WANT TO BLAME BUSH FOR ALL OUR PROBLEMS. PRAY SO THAT WE DON'T GET ANOTHER BUSH IN OFFICE - ONE WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH.
-
of course. better him than bush jr.
-
Would I vote for him? Yes, and more than once.
-
Yes. Clinton is very charismatic and intelligent.
-
Yes.
-
yes, he is by far better than Bush.
-
I guess I'm alone these days in believing one's word should stand for something. I know our leaders keep things from the public in the name of national security, but to be caught lying and then trying to justify the lie ("...depends on what your definition of 'is' is...")was the beginning of me losing faith in our current form of government. Even sadder was hearing him referred to as "the First Black President" and having women defend his receiving "favors" in office with' "He's a MAN. ALL men do it." Give me a break. Hope I NEVER see another Clinton in office.
-
I'd have to think about that...... although I thought he was a good president I still remember his little scandal with Monica Lewinsky, and that doesn't say much about his character if he cheats on his wife with a woman young enough to be his daughter and then lies about it.
-
Yes I'm sure I would. He's been one of the most intelligente leaders we've had. He accomplished a tremedouse amount of good for the country. Now alot of the progress in the budget has been reversed and put us backwards and I will not put full blame on the current though not sure who else to blame. The big stink about his affairs was a political stunt and drawn out and esculated for political purposes. If one looked at the current congress's rap sheet you'd see polititions have no right to cast stones on either side. I am just shocked at what we've elected and re-elected. A once coke addict that graduated with sub par grades, dodged the draft, has never shown successful leadership outside of gov. if you call his terms successful. A man that shows obviouse lackings in his communicational skills to be polite. His running mate with DUI's and health problems which could easily prevent him from his duties. Good health is an obviouse requirement for public service I think. but anyway I'd rather have a guy with a healthy sexual appitite that has the ability to communicate with a proven successful performance in leadership in and outside politics that at the time had a running mate that was healthy enough to break his foot playing basketball, not having a heart attack waking up in the morning being served breakfast in bed.
-
Yes, no matter his faults, he helped this country flourish.
-
God, no. His own wife can't trust him. Why should millions of strangers (i.e. voters) trust him any more than that?
-
No, since he doesn't inhale -- lol And who ever down rated everybody on this question , I'll let you know I went back and gave all of them '6 points each ' - So There
-
No. I cringe to think he might end up being "First Lady" heh heh heh...
-
yep
-
I might. He has a lot more wisdom and perspective than he did. I guess it would depend what the options are. I'd prefer Obama at the moment.
-
nope... he was a little too buddy buddy with sudam for my likeing. course, i'd rather have that than this fricken war... and sudam is dead... still no... i'd rather have obama...
-
I voted for him twice, so sure I'd vote for him a third time. He was one of the few good presidents we ever had. Perhaps the best in the past 50 years.
-
No. As a side note, I think it's funny that there's an Obama add on this page.
-
yes, actually, I would!
-
yes, actually, I would!
-
I would vote for him before I would vote for both of the Bushes again.
-
Yes!!!
-
I'd rather vote for a dead person like Reagan.
-
Yes
-
Yes
-
Yes, Bill Clinton is a man of peace, a prolific leader and clearly highly intelligent.
-
bill whoooooooooooooo
-
Yes!!!
-
No, I'm Canadian. And didn't he bomb an Advil factory because he thought it was a weapon factory? Then again, he was on the Simpsons a few times...
-
HELL NO!!
-
Instantly and I'd help on his campaign trail. He just has to make marijuana legal.
-
Hell yes! When Clinton was president, the only thing we had to worry about was the President's sex life. If that's not a sign of a stable country, I don't know what is.
-
Yes, I would.
-
No chance in hell.
-
No - surely we can find someone who is not only practically 'good' but also morally good.
-
oh yes I would!
-
Yes
-
No we need a cross between Mccain, H. Ross Perot, and JFK.
-
He will be...trust me, in more ways than the Title of Mr. President.
-
WOW, lots of answers on this one. Too many to read though so I'll just leave mine also. YES! and YES! I really had income and the country was in a surplus (in the black)
-
Oh hell no. And I hope his wife doesn't stand a chance as well.
-
YES - but not President of the USA - Perhaps some third world country far, far away - Take his wife with him.
-
Yes
-
Since that is an impossibility it is not worth saying yes or no.
-
NO!!!!
-
Yes I would, and I am sure that if Bill Clinton could run for President again, he would win.
-
Yep!
-
Gosh yes. I really think he was a great president and he brought the economy to a strong state. He was a fine and admirable man and George Bush isnt 1/9 the man Clinton was! I would vote for him in a heartbeat the same way I voted for Hillary!
