  • Assume the other guy is going to do the right thing. Stop at the stop sign. Stop at the red light. Look first before pulling out of a parking space. Signal before changing lanes. You always have to be a defensive driver and expect anything at any time.
  • Not using the turn signal.
  • Believe that they are competent...;-D...
  • They do not use their turn signal. It drives me crazy!
  • piss me off
  • park in bus zones and double park on busy highways
  • Not signalling ranks right up at the top!!! Also, driving below the damn speed limit! Look - if you want to go slow, then no problem! But if you have 10 cars behind you, do the right thing - pull over so we can get to where we are going! Ans please, please, PLEASE stop doing 50 miles per hour in the fast lane on the interstate. Not only is it rude as hell, it makes you look like you couldn't care less about everyone who is forced to share the road with you! SLOW TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT!!!!!!
  • Get in my way :)
  • Rolling through a stop sign! The GAS PEDAL is on the right and the BRAKE is in the middle.(USA) You NEED TO USE the gas pedal to make the car MOVE FORWARD!!!! +5
  • When they don't use their turn signal, and talking on cellphone while the light is green and the driver doesn't notice....
  • In Wisconsin I noticed people would stop when they didn't have stop signs and I did, making it longer for me to wait at the stop sign. GOOOOO!!!
  • I would say improper use of the center turn lane. It is for left turns and if the road is 3 lanes and the action can be performed safely it can also be used for passing. It is not a merge lane and if you pull out of a parking lot or off a side street and you pull into the center lane to merge with traffic you have broken a law. Most people it seems don't realize it is illegal or they realize that it probably won't be enforced. Fail to signal intent and disreguard of a traffic-control device are pretty high on the list as well. Those are just the common ones that spring to mind.
  • Rolling through stop signs. Not yeilding the right-of-way. Not signaling (This one annoys me). Not stopping for pedestrians trying to cross the road.
  • drinking and driving, and not buckling up, honestly are these two rules so hard to follow?
  • cut corners when turning on a two lane turn. I have almost been hit many times by those whom cut the corner from the right turn lane especially on left turns when I am trying to turn in the proper lane and way. also when people turn on the inside lane and go over into the outside lane never looking to see if they are pulling in front of someone.
  • Have you noticed that drivers (yes, I've done this and you probably have too) have this need to "punish" other drivers (i.e. not let cut in front of you, etc.)
  • not signaling is probably the worst
  • 1.The first and the foremost and the biggest common mistake is not getting their vehicles checked and maintained regularly. They only wake up when it breaks down. 2.Talking on cell phone while driving. 3.Not sticking to the the right speed lane on the free ways and not signalling it right at other times.. 4.Getting involved in talking with someone boarding the same vehicle while driving. 5.Last but not the least, driving while drunk.
  • Drive like crap: Making illegal turns, stopping when they should not, etc...
  • The most common thing I have seen is the "rolling stop". Hardly anyone will come to a full stop at a stop sign unless they must wait for another car to pass before they can continue.
  • Speed yo...
  • Failure to consider the unexpected. Road hazards (potholes, etc), debris in the road, other drivers driving differently than they drive, etc. Plan for the worst, drive for the worst, and hope for better. My pet peeve is drivers who slow down (ALOT) when a cop has someone pulled over. HEY, they already have their arrest. Or do you think you might know the person they pulled over?
  • don't use turn signals
  • Text while they are driving....I seen a woman doing this while driving a SUV....it was so so stupid....I thought....."I hope none of my grandbabies...or grown children are on the roads at this moment!!!
  • No shoulder checks
  • Following too close is the number cause of all auto accidents. Lane changing violations come next.
  • A bad driver doesn't handle memory allocation properly and eventually makes my PC crash.
  • as soon as the light is green they gas it with out making sure everyone is observing the red light.
  • Rush recklessly when making turns. I have not once but twice witnessed collisions because of this.
  • Slow down for green lights! What goes through a persons head to make them do such a thing?
  • Drive Slow in the Left Lane. I turn into a obnoxious jerk and flash my lights, honk my horn and give them a proper wave when I pass.
  • First I think is speed and tailgate. But, then, not know the perimeter of their car. So, they don't know where the front back or sides are. Bang into curbs and other cars (like in parking lots) because the don't know where the front, rear, and sides of the car are. Oh, yeah, and crossing the double line.
  • Not merging into traffic at the speed of traffic!!! I see so many people merging onto the highway at like 40 where the speed limit is 55mph.
  • The get behind the wheel and drive - a big mistake! They should take the bus next time.
  • taking driving for granted! this is the root of all bad driving, the behavior of once you pass your driving test you can relax and do what ever you want. some examples: 1. cutting of other cars, trucks and even 5 ton buses to get to the turn or lane they want 2. driving to fast or one handed in poor weather conditions 3. doing other things (eating, make up, cell phone, shaving, etc) while driving all because they don't have the proper respect for driving, the awareness that it is something that need 100% of the drivers attention, both hands and eyes front and that the faster you drive, the more likely you WON'T get where your going on time... or ever.
  • Talk on their cellphone while driving, some people just can't drive, since their to busy concentrated with the person they are talking to, then paying attention to the road.
  • Let other things cause them to take their construction off their driving.
  • tailgate, cellphones, and not paying attention (blind spots, etc)
  • Take their eyes off the road and other vehicles for more than 1 second when in traffic. I never look away unless I have a clear road, then only for a second or two. (I mean, think about how far you travel at 70MPH in those few seconds.) I know a girl with a new husband and a kid who died, PROBABLY because she dropped her lighter, and reached for it at 70MPH! Unless you have long arms, and can still see the road, LEAVE IT! Don't pay attention to the speed of other drivers, and pull out in front of, or cut them off. I've see people, including truckers, pull out in front of me at 60MPH, when it's obvious I'm doing 70-75MPH. I've also seen people pull back into the driving lane WAY too close to the vehicle in it, sometimes forcing THEM to slow down. Do that with a semi at the wrong time, and both you and the semi are toast. NOT merge into a restricted lane until the last minute, forcing a whole line of cars to accordion-stop. MANY times I've heard tires squealing, seen extremely close calls, and even been in some. Now, especially if I drive that road regularly, and KNOW where 1) you are supposed to start getting over, and 2) where the lane actually "cuts off/over", I will get beside a semi in the main lane, and stick with him, blocking those jerks, until we get to a point... Then the semi usually slows just enough to let me in, while still maintaining his movement. (No accordion-stopping).
  • Drive.
  • Fail to drive "defensively". People do not pay close enough attention to other drivers. They are concentrated on their own destination, agendas, etc. "Watch out for the other guy". Sometimes, we are the other guy, so...be on guard.
  • They fail to pull to the left or right before executing a turn. They fail to move to the right when not passing other vehicles. They fail to acknowledge or appreciate a headlamp flash from behind as a gentle "excuse me, please." Their parallel parking skills are atrocious.
  • get in their cars
  • Probably tail gaiting and not signaling would be pretty up there. And people driving under the speed limit in the MIDDLE of the lane when there's obvious room to pull to the left without any inconvinience to them dammit! Lol.
  • not blinkering when they turn or blinkering right b4 they turn
  • Id say California stopping....I see cops do it too....
  • drunk driving. or driving with cellphones in their ears.
  • not to indicate thier intention! its a pain!
  • "All that cough syrup this morning" [Bill Murray in "Stripes"] - Seriously, my guess? = not paying attention! ;-)
  • they light up the fog lights even if there is no fog with a result to blind the vehicles on the opposite line this happens in Greece on the 50% of the vehicles that have fog lights.so you can say this happens on the 25%-30% of the vehicles you'll come accross
  • Speed, and tailgate.+5
  • Pull out in front of someone and then turn. Go slow and hold up 10 other cars. Roll through Stop signs. Right turn on red with "NO" stop. Drive in the center lane like they're going to fall off the friggin road.
  • OBJECTION! no one gets extra points here for answering : ( so.. why answere? : D
  • Would go for indicating when switching lanes and dont stop dead at stopsigns.
  • Speeding and tail gating are what I see are the worst things drivers do.
