yup.

Not exactly a TV character, but I got all emotional during the finale of M*A*S*H when a bunch of military and civilians were on a bus and they all had to be very quiet so the enemy would not detect them. A baby started to cry and the mother, well, had to make the baby quiet to save all the others. I am still tearing up just thinking about it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goodbye,_Farewell_and_Amen

I was about 11 or 12 when Jon-Erik Hexum died on the set of the TV show "Cover Up". His death was written into the script. It was a good show and he was one of my favourite actors. I still remember the lump in my throat when after a long build-up the heroine was told "He's not coming back." Gulp! Suppose you had to be there. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jon-Erik_Hexum http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cover_Up
