Not usually, but once in a while there's one I get absolutely hooked on. Some big ones that took up far too much of my time starting at age 9 haha: Pokemon Red, Pokemon Snap, Donkey Kong 64, and Kingdom Hearts I&II.

Rather than an addiction, I think that it had more to do with the fact that I didn't have much else to during that time.

when we got our first computer, about a dozen years ago, we had a game on there that i found very addictive. can't even remember what it was now... but i remember staying up late trying to win lol

Way, way, way, way, way back in the days of the first video games; I had an addiction to any video games that used the Atari; I upgraded my Atari 3 times. I actually got a click in my thumb from the joy stick. No one would play with me because I beat everyone I knew when they played with me so they wouldn't after a while. I stopped playing them shortly thereafter, but occasionally play some with my son. I can't play them often for fear I could start playing them more than I visit AB! The graphics and everything about them are so advanced from when I had my addiction! And cool.

i was addicted to Diablo, Diablo 2 and Diablo lord of destruction expansion for over 7 years.... i almost got sucked into world of warcraft but got tired of it. now its mostly the occassional xbox 360 RPG (fallout 3, fable 2 etc)

Oh hell yeah!!! Always was and still am. I have the consoles, games on my computer, on my ipod and my cell phone.
