When I was young, I spent a lot of time in trees, even took afternoon naps in them. So, I think I'm still pretty fast.

I used to be able to get up a tree really quickly, the squirrels taught me well, but nowadays I'm old and puny so I'll probably need a good three week head start if you want to race. ;0)

I'll just sit in a lounge chair drink a cold beer and give up a toast to every one else climbing the tree.

I do not climb trees anymore .... However; back in the day, I was a fairly good tree climber and had no problems ...

Gosh, I can jump over a tree under two different circumstances: 1) It is very short 2) It is laying on the ground.

Last time I climb a tree I fell over a drawf peach tree. I was messed up.

I grew up in trees, and still pretty athletic. So, a spruce tree is really easy, it's gonna take less then a minute to go up a nice and big 3-4-store spruce. A mulberry tree is easy too, if it's not too big and you manage to get to the first branches. But the berries are worth it. Yumm! Maples never aroused me for climbing... Pear is boring, apple... well a couple of seconds, they're usually low branched. Ok, exactly I can't tell you, but faster then the others, cause i'm good at it! ))))

If I got someTHING chasing me, I can climb like I was a chimpanzee. If I'm doing it for fun, I don't think I can even get up and over the first branch.

I don't know about today, but I could climb a good size cocnut tree in less then a minute in my younger days.

When I was young, I was the champion tree climber. The best I can do now is walk over to a tree, sit under it and reminisce about the days when I could climb fast. :)
