  • Neither. Unless they're paying my bills, I tell them to go screw. Of course, if there's cash on the table, I'll keep quiet. Hey, a dude's gotta eat, right?
  • I keep quiet. I have found that when I try to argue with them, it is an exercise in futility.
  • Unless I'm getting paid off, I voice my opinion to anyone who feels the need to share theirs.
  • Seldom...I can be persuaded to change my views when presented with a well reasoned argument or new and reliable information.
  • I make my point of view heard by anyone in earshot or that can read the screen on their PC. I don't force it down their throat but if they want to tell me theirs or tell me mine is wrong I will definitely let them know what I think.
  • ON AB I just keep quiet not worth my time. I am having a meaningless conversation with a computer screen. But in life it depends on the situation. Anything involving me or my son personally I will not sway but otherwise I might change my mind. Just depends on the situation. +5
  • why should i change my opinions or views just because some people don't like them?
  • Nope, nor would I expect anyone else to keep quiet or change their view if we didn't agree :)
  • Oh no, I don't keep quiet if I've got something to say. I'm in a compromise with no one to do that. I think by now a great amount of members know that. And I will not change my view because someone wouldn't agree with me. But I'm more than willing to considere a very valid argument.
  • I wear camoflauge material induced by the mind, to reduce vulnerability, so the convenience of acquiring an similar subject to reinforce the others opinion is availible, relevant to my confusion and insecurities, though productive in its allowance of a tool, to utilize for the introduction of new concepts, despite their friction upon my past experiences allowing an solidified opinion.
  • We are all entitled to an opinion and I do not expect everyone to agree with me and I am not going to change my opinion to agree with others.
  • Nope, not me
  • I can compromise or modify if i see some merit to there viewpoint but i am more than likely to stick to my gun's.
  • Yes. There's some topics I avoid now on social networks because I don't want to hear the sarcastic remarks.
  • I don't think I'm capable of changing my view to "fit in" or be accepted but I have kept quiet a few times when I felt that sharing my views will not be beneficial to me or others.
  • Oh yes. Someone thought I was a man the other day and now I pee standing up.
  • Depends on the demeanor of the person asking or ranting. There are some people, that no matter how much logic or reason you throw at them, it seems to just bounce off of them and, most often, it is not worth the effort to explain a position to them. They usually watch alot of Oprah and CNN religiously, I find :=)
  • NO WAY!...If I did then I would be changing my view from right....to wrong....sheesh
  • If I find I am outnumbered in my opinion, I will usually remain silent. I will not change my opinions or view because someone else has different ones.
  • No way.
  • Not for a minute that is what makes us unique when we stick to our beliefs and our opinions. If we all changed our views to agree with others it would be so boring !!
  • Never! Stand up for what you believe in :D
  • No. Many people don't think that me being a strict vegetarian is 'right' or healthy but it doesn't mean I'm not going to tell people or start eating meat.
  • I change my view if I think the other people are right. I'm surprised, just scanning through the first page, how many people would refuse to admit that they can be wrong sometimes.
  • Well, I wouldn't change my opinion but as long as we remain mutually respectful of the other's viewpoint, I don't mind when someone disagrees with me. After all, they are entitled to their opinion and I'm not afraid to admit that I could very well be mistaken. However, I've encountered many conversations on AB where certain people are so convinced that they are right and everyone else is wrong, they become rude and disrespectful. In those instances, I tend to remain silent, simply because it would be a waste of my time.
  • Not usually, unless it's something I don't care very deeply about. I get pretty stubborn when my viewpoints and thoughts are challenged. Most of my ideas were hard-won, some at great cost, and I tend to think they are definitely correct. : )
  • I won't change my view, but sometimes I will keep quiet, for the sake of peace. Sometimes I am in the mood for an argument but other times you just want to have a laugh, so when someone says something I don't agree with I will occasionally keep my mouth shut, rather than get into a big shouting match.
  • I am very opinionated and I rarely change my view unless someone throws out some pretty good factual evidence to sway my opinion and I always speak my mind which is why I am not very popular around here.
  • No,and you can't make me.lol!
