  • Personally some of my favorites are: Jackson Hole, WY--great variety from beginning slopes to some really hard double-blacks, Park City, UT--very popular so if it is too busy, I would recommend Deer Valley, which is very close by. And finally, Mammoth Lakes, CA. I grew up skiing here and the town is not very well-known. A better alternative to Tahoe in my opinion, which is always overly crowded. All of these options have charming downtowns and friendly locals with a variety of runs in different levels. Have fun skiing!!
