I think would grow on me but would take time. It would be a cool name for it would be original just wonder what parents were thinking when name child that name like the reasoning behind the name.
-
It depends on what kind of a girl Temperance is.
-
I think peanut butter would be a better name
-
It' definitely different. Along the same vain as Hope, Faith, Charity...
-
Weirder than "Hope" but better than "KaSey". I met someone today whose name was KaSey - yea you've gotta capitalize the "S" like that. But if I met someone named Temperance I think I'd have to date her only so I could bring her to parties and introduce her; "Hi this is Temperance, I know what you're thinking and yes her parents did want a boy - they punished her by giving her a crappy name." The relationship would likely end pretty quickly, but man it'd be a good week or two.
-
I think of the "Temperance" Movement .... when i first hear that name ... It is a very unusual name ; BUT very catching and pretty ....
-
I like it. It has a meaning where so many names these days do not.
-
Is that your ass in the avatar?
-
I would think she probably came from a Quaker or Salvation Army family. it is not a name I would choose but then she did not choose it either,
-
It sounds like a Pilgrim name; I'd suspect she came from an established New England family. I'd ask if her sisters were Prudence and Chastity.
-
if i got to like the girl then i suppose it would grow on me - but i wouldnt choose to name anyone by it!
-
For some odd reason I cannot explain I like it.
-
I would ask her for another lap dance.
-
I'd more than likely ask her out for drinks!
-
probably named her temperance because of her temper.
-
Temperance? begs for ridicule NO WAY
-
It makes me the think she is either a nun or pretentious. Sorry. We really shouldn't read too much into names. But the name doesn't exude images of fun maybe irony if she's wild.
-
It's jsut a label. It depends on what type of person she is.
-
I think it would grow on me, it is a unique name and doesn't have too bad a ring to it.
-
There would be no need for it to grow on me,I love it.
-
This was one of the virtue names adopted by the Puritans in the 17th century. I like it. Maybe if she were a little naughty it would be easier to get used to.
-
It's not something I would name my kid, but I think it would grow on me and I think I would start to like it. Names have a tendency to do that.
