  • he probably needs to go see his doctor and get it checked out

  • It sounds like Restless Leg Syndrome, this can be caused by some medications including old style antihistamines, anti nausea medication, and blood pressure medication. Failing that get the doctor to check his iron levels as low iron can cause it and other things that a blood test could rule out. Other than that avoiding caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol before bed, taking a warm bath, massaging the legs, regular exercise, can help, there is medication that may help, but best try and find a cause first.
  • Have him drink a glass of V8 juice every morning. He may be low on potassium & V8 is a good way to help balance that out!!! V8 is also a great way to stop those horrible morning leg cramping!!
  • You may think this is a strange thing to try but get some support stockings or pantyhose and wear them to bed. It greatly reduced the problem for me.
