I don't see why not. It's more important how they are raised and can understand the things they are seeing because youtube is pretty tame and by 10 that's to where your able to reason and understand things that are meant to be funny or shocking etc and not be "messed up" by viewing it

Nope. I don't even allow my 10 year old to surf the cable stations totally unsupervised. Note that this doesn't mean that I am over his shoulder every minute of the day while he's watching TV...it just means I apply the level of supervision I feel is required to ensure he's NOT watching things I consider inappropriate for his age.
