that is bullshit. i worked there as a teenager, and the the potatoes and gravy both come in powdered form, and you add water to them. the particular restaurant i worked in was very clean, too.

Gravy in most homes that make it from scratch use old grease. It's not as big of a deal as some are making it.

Um, do you know how to make gravy at home? You take what is left in the pan after making fried chicken... exactly the same as the KFC claim.

That would be the best way to make gravy.

All gravy is basically melted fat and seasoning, with flour and/or corn starch mixed in to thicken it. Using recycled fryer grease doesn't sound any more or less disgusting than the gravy people normally make in their own homes.
