Could all world religions, be messages from the same god, each different religios system simply be the resault of ONE god trying to speek to the different cultures in the world in a way that they would best understand? each haveing thier own purpose?

I think that is brilliant and I would not be suprised if the difference in language is the cause for everybody not seeing that and then do nasty stuff like cutting peoples heads off.

but when god used the flood (noah)to change the directions the world was headed, or the plagues of egypt (moses) he did that, to in theory to alter the direction the world was going, is the world not in a similar situation? the masses of people that are unreachable through religion, or the religious people that lie to each other and continue to corupt others belief systems, are we not as a whole lost to the affects of these people, should we not consider that yes although we have the choice in all repects, but consider the idea that we have sucumbed to the will of the majority, the ideal of the mob, similar to that in rome soon after the crucifaction of christ. when the romans took on the belief system of the followers of christ.
