• Well Jess imho it indicates an openness and willingness to accept people you dont know and to go out of your way to welcome them and make them feel accepted.... In todays society, far too many people are insular and unwilling to befriend strangers. I recently moved country and it has been extremely difficult to be, not only accepted into my neighbourhood where I live, but also accepted by my colleagues in a work situation. I have not let this influence me in any way. But I still find that I tend to make friends with (laugh if your must) other foreigners also working and living over here (and they dont come from my home country).
  • I would agree that some strangers are just friends we haven't met yet but other strangers might never be friends.
