Look at the Scriptures that talk about the Last Days. We are in the End Times and have been since the ascension of Jesus into heaven. Look at Matthew 24 at the signs of the coming of judgment. Look at the event described in Revelation (but remember it is a specific style of writing meant to be read symbolically in many places and not literally like other literary forms in the Bible). Compare all of these happenings with the historical record since. Many similarities can be seen. Paul, Peter, and the other apostles speak urgently concerning the coming end of the age and about repentance and the gospel of Christ crucified to take away sins. The subject matter indicates that they felt that we are in the End Times. Finally, remember that God's knowledge of time is different from ours.

The Last Days have been going on for about 2000 years. But since the restoration of the nation of Israel, it appears that God's Timepiece is ticking again. Also, for the first time in history, nations are capable of fielding armies the size mentioned in Revelation.

In revelations, it says there will be 1000 years of no sins.

I've read stories that people were saying the same thing at the turn of the first millenium, the year 1000. Many apparently gave up their homes and jobs, and gathered to witness the final days, as foretold in the Bible, with references to then-current events as proof. pppfffffttttt.

seahorse gave a very good description of the last days, i would like to add that the apostle paul also mentioned that there would be a world-wide announcement as 1thessalonians 5:2,3 says "for you yourselves know quite well that Jehovah's day is coming exactly as a thief in the night. whenever it is that they are saying: "peace and security!" then sudden destruction is to be instantly upon them just as the pang of distress upon a pregnant woman; and they wil by no means escape. there will be a worldwide announcement of peace and security. this has to be a most welcomed announcement after all the turmoil the world has recently been going through, however, it will be a false announcement, and sudden destruction is without a doubt to follow. events are rapidly unfolding and time has all but run out for this system of things.

The Bible gives a composite sign that would mark the time of the end. The various aspects of the sign are recorded at Matthew chapters 24,25, Mark 13 and Luke 21; there ae further details at 2 Timothy 3:1-5, 2Peter 3:3,4, and Revelation 6:1-8. Upwards of 100 million persons have been slaughtered in warfare during this century. Is more required in order to fulfill this aspect of the prophecy? Leading scientists have said that if the nations were to use even a fraction of their nuclear arsenals, civilization and possibly the entire human species would be destroyed. Nothing has happened recently that has not been happening for the last 2,000 years. "But of that day or hour, no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be watchful! Be alert! You do not know when the time will come." (Mark 13:32-33) Jesus told us in no uncertain terms that we were not to know when the end of the world would come but that we were always to be ready. Each new Christian denomination seems to worry about the end of the world a bit too much. Then after a couple of centuries, they realize that there are always wars and rumors of wars, etc. I won't even mention the hundreds of false predictions of the end of the world over the centuries, all of which were based on individual interpretations of biblical prophecies. The first century Christian Church thought that Jesus was going to return at any moment. Only after a couple of centuries did the Church realize that it may be 2,000 or 4,000 or 8,000 years before Jesus returns. The Catholic Church wisely follows Jesus' advice and teaches that each of us should live as if we will meet our maker in the next ten minutes and that we need to work to make the world a better place for our 100 X great-grandchildren. We are in the last days, but nowhere close to the end. All of these extremely long answers that list scripture after scripture prove nothing except those things have all been happening since there has been history to record. Jesus said it would be like in the days of Noah, look at that time. There was 1 man and his family left in the whole world who worshiped God, same with Sodom and Gomorrah, 1 man worshiping in both cities. God shows us what He will do by what He has done. I think we have a long way to go before there is only one man and his family worshiping God in the whole world.

"when the fig tree blooms this generation shall not pass away before seeing the comming of the LORD". the fig tree is Israel or Jerusalem, and it blooming is getting its nation back which either happened in 1948 or the six day war 1967. it is unknown which GOD was speaking of (perhaps someone else here knows better) but that was the sign that people have been waiting for and it says that this generation shall not pass away meaning at latest 1967(taking that date) and adding the last persons death (the last person living 120 years) it puts it in 2067. I do not believe that it will be that far away, but I will not put a day nor hour on it nor even a year (the year 2067 should be the last potential year before the LORD returns) but it may be sooner. I just know that the storm clouds are getting close and all the chess pieces are moving into position. Read the part in Daniel where it explains, 70 years from the issuance of the word to rebuild Jerusalem. In 62 "weeks"( or maybe years) it will be rebuilt.. but in a time of distress.____ "Issuance of the word to rebuild Jerusalem".... concerning the understanding of where we are in respect to the Vision, What I speculate is that "Israel" has be "rebuilt" and declared an "independent nation" relatively recently. -- On May 14, 1948, the day before the end of the British Mandate, the Jewish Agency proclaimed independence, naming the country Israel. The following day the armies of five Arab countries — Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq — attacked Israel So from what I gather, starting 1948, starts the 70 year decree. And in if im not mistaken (1948+70 = 2018). It is mentions that Jerusalem will be built in 62 "weeks"(years).. and after the 62 "weeks" the anointed one will dissapear and vanish. So (1948+62=2010... I think there may have been speculation about that date) Also if I'm not mistaken, it is mentioned in the scriptures that a little bit of prophecy and vision were revealed to other civilizations By The Lord G-d, that is if i'm not mistaken. So I consider the date 2012 being a big topic and it's supposedly the date that alot of alternative belief systems say is the "beginning of a new era". I think 2010ish through 2012 or 2012 may be the "beginning of the new era" or From what I'm seeing is the Beginning or close to the beginning of the book of Revelations. Also I just thought about the terms Old testament and New Testament, even though they are not the original titles and that The "Old testament" is really Ha Torah Ha Neviim and Ha ketuvim combined and The New Testament ( well I don't really recall what It was originally called ) but I thought about those themes and since I gather that in the "NewTestament" everything before the book of revelations is either a record of what already happened(aside from the prophesies and visions) From what I gather, The Beginning of the Book of Revelations or near it, is the start of the "new era", possibly 2010 ish<-> 2012. So that's what I think and I think it's very possible though I could do some more reading and research into the scriptures and observing the current time and happenings.

Remember that the 1000 years is supposed to happen after other things happening before it. For instance the Fall of Babylon comes before the 1000 years and if you understand that babylon can be identified as the "United States" or the "One World Order" that means Either one or both have to be destroyed. BTW if you have no idea why I'm identifying the United States as Babylon, well I posted a chunk of information here if you scroll down or up or check the second page. But anyway yea, From what I'm understanding, the 1000 years doesn't happen until Either "The United States", or The New World Order is fallen or some other possibilities though that one makes a ton of sense and is evident both historically and by observing what's going on right now. I just thought you might wanted to hear my thoughts because until recently I had no idea of what ALOT of the prophesies implied. I have believe that I may have been revealed insight and given understanding possibly By The Living One True G-d The Holy Father in Heaven. And so I say BLESSED IS THE LORD G-D THE ONE TRUE G-D THE HOLY FATHER IN HEAVEN THE LIVING G-D FOR KNOWLEDGE AND POWER BELONGS TO HIM AND ARE HIS TO GIVE AND TAKE. AND BLESSED IS JESUS CHRIST, YESHUA OUR LORD AND SAVIOR,HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD, BY THE LORD THE HOLY FATHER.

2012 is the second apocalypse I'm going to go through, personally. The first was 2000 when the world blew up because computers didn't know what time it is. I'm pretty sure the one 2 years from now is because the Mayans didn't plan ahead far enough to tell us what day it is. ...There's always people self-centered enough to believe that the world is going to end during their lifetime.

8-10-2017 The surrender of Jerusalem to English forces in 1948 was the last prophecy with a date on it. Next, the temple has to be rebuilt, and from the date of the command to rebuild it to the end will be seven years. Third, the USA is blatantly absent from the end time prophecies, so this nation must collapse and become helpless. That has been going on since WW2.
