  • Everyone has the right to freedom of expression. You can hate the police, but you can't make libel claims, copyright infringement and invade privacy in your blog.

  • I think that would depend on what country it was done in. Here in the US, we are a litigious society. We can sue anybody over nearly anything. We can spend the money on the filings and the attorney's fees and the court costs, and have the suit dismissed when the judge hears it. If the blog slanders or libels the cops the writer could be sued. If they only tell the truth about the situation then they would probably not be sued. 10/22/23
