The constant begging by charities for money to help the "needy." Call me a Scrooge, but I've seen a "welfare" family make out better than some poor working slob because they submit their applications to a dozen different charities. Their kids get so many toys, they end up in the corner dumpster, not even having the box opened.

Do you mean Christmas and all or just winter? Christmas - the barrage of ads, TV shows, newwspaper articles that either encorage excess consumption by assuming that you MUST buy gifs for all and sundry, OR tell you how to manage it all by buying smart. I don't engage in this and resent people giving me advice on how to do it. The SMART thing is to reject all this commercialism - that's the way to de-stress, just say 'No.' Otherwise, about winter, the thing I hate is going to work in the cold and the dark and coming home in the cold and the dark. It's like there isn't any daytime at all.

Christmas music. There is a radio station here in Houston that plays nothing but Christmas music after Thanksgiving. I actually prefer listening to Christmas music in the summer time when I'm not forced to while in every store and restaurant I go to.

People get themselves so wrapped up (so to speak) in spending money and racing around. Even if they don't have to be anywhere, they are still sressed and hurried, leaving little room for manners.

The fact that they make it out to be the time to be with family. WTF!! so for the rest of the year you just completley blank each other then within 3 days your all supposed to all know each other, cheer about some fictional character's birth and then complain coz someone gav you a present that you didn't want o ralready have. My point being, Christmas annoys me, im no mr grinch or scruge, im just a 17 year old teenager that sees how ridiculous december is made out to be. Why the hell do we start school in september? why is it that easter is always either in april or may make up your fuking minds!!! - sorry but this whole setup of the way we should live sucks! and yet i have no ability to change it. It's the 21st century and we are all still having to learn about shakesphere - omg, how old is he now? what hppened to the word 'New' does it even exist anymore!!! Breathes in and out..... I rest my point! :) good question, i needed to say that or else i would've lost it somewhere more public lol

The whole christmas season with the exclusion of christams day! I mean I love christmas but the days leading to christmas is crazy. People in front of stores asking you donate this and that and the killer is it be about 10 different chairties at one store! How am I suppose to give 20 dollars to ten different people crazy. On top of that for the next 16 days people are constantly dropping not so subtle hints about what they want for christams! My girl spends all day cutting out rings in magazines and then when I ask her do she want a ring she says no she's just cutting out rings! But I know if I don't get her one and she gets me something great im in trouble! I just wish I could fast foward to christmas day!

Here in Montreal, it tends to go back and forth between freeze & thaw a lot ... rain turns to snow & freezing rain making slush that puts sheets of slippery ice on the streets and sidewalks ... then melts for a short fast rush of water that fills the sewers, then freezes and blocks some sewers ... spiked shoes and studded tires are recommended ...

I don't think I can say just one thing. I work longer hours, have less time, have to buy gifts with money I don't have, have to drive on the roads with idiots that don't know how to drive in the snow... - However, you asked for THE most annoying thing. The shoppers at my store have a different attitude. They seem to feel like they deserve to have the employees bend over backward for them. The majority seem to feel that it is a right to demand more than is humanly possible, and they don't do anything for themselves.
