I am fairly sure it is a soft perm - the curls are not so tight together. More wavy than curly.

I got a body wave yesterday. It has little curls, but you doesnt look like a poodle. I really like it because my hair used to be naturally straight and I had noooo volume! I didnt get any damage from it. I incourage you to get one. Very cute.
