Yes, I do!

the lower middle class yes. my father worked in a foundry 7 days a week 16 hrs a day for 45 years...in fact he died at work. his "pension" miraculously disappeared when the company finally shut down 6 years later. we have nothing to show for all that he contributed.he busted his gut working there, and no one from that company even sent flowers.i myself work in the concrete business, hard job pays good. but still not enough. yes...i think ALL americans,in one way or another..no matter how meaningless the job work hard for their money. thank you kindly
-
Many do. Many don't.
-
As a group, not as hard as some countries and harder than others.
-
many work hard, and many do not work hard. they hardly work and get more much more than the person who works hard. of course they went to college, have degrees, learned the ins and outs of business, they have executive type jobs. and they earn big bucks.
-
No. Life is alot harder in other palces

my brother moved to Dallas from London UK he likes his job but he complains about the lack of Holiday (time off) here in the UK (and Europe) we get 25 days off plus National Holidays extra he is lucky to get 2 weeks off for the whole year - that sucks so compared with us Brits i think the Americans DO work harder
-
Not half as hard as bankers, televangelists and politicians do to take it away from them
-
I would say that the majority of EMPLOYED Americans work pretty damn hard for their money. I know I do.
-
Yes, I would say so.
-
I would say no compared to other countrys like China were people work all day for less than a $1
-
Not really. I don't really think anybody who works in an office "works hard." Other list of those who don't "work hard" is school teacher, truck driver, house painter, newspaper collumnist, television host, tuba player in an orchestra, and blogger. In other words, if you don't sweat when it's 45 degrees out and your body doesn't hurt by the end of the day, you ain't "working hard."
-
kinda some do and some live off sperm donating and plasma giving
-
Everywhere in the world & everyone has to work hard to make honest money
-
Yes.
-
I don't!
-
Cartman thinks so..

I would have to say yes. With labor unions losing more and more of the workers benefits at the bargaining table, concessions made on working conditions and job protection, more and more workers are getting a lot more work dumped upon them these days by their employers. This was the situation with my own job during the last few years that I worked. I ended up taking home enormous amounts of paper work every night because there simply wasn't enough time to do it during working hours.:(
-
I would imagine they do.
-
I think so, at least in my area. It's so hard to find a job now that people are working their butts off to keep what they currently have.
-
That's very spotty.

Im sure we do. We work the second highest number of hours a week of all countries second only to japan. We also have the lowest number of holidays per year second only to japan.
